We bought it about 2 yrs ago and have been fixing it up. It sat for about 30 yrs before we got it and its about 98% original and complete! We have done alot to this thing. Its got new water pump, belts, hoses, thermostat, carb has been rebuilt, new distributor cap and rotor, points, spark plugs, plug wires, new oil, oil cap, radiator cap, gas cap, all new brakes and most of the brake lines, wheel cylinders and wheels and tires. The thing runs and drives great now but it does need a few things done to it for it to be road ready. The front steel brake lines need to be replaced, the radiator needs to be boiled and cleaned and the steering gear box needs to be tightened up. Aside from that this truck is ready. We have driven it and it is a blast to drive. It comes with some extra parts. We have new seat upholstery, door latches and strikers and carpet for the truck that just need to be installed. Good luck bidding!!"

This truck is in great shape for its age. Its been a farm truck since new. We bought it about 2 yrs ago from the farm and have been fixing it up ever since. Its got new battery, turn signal switch, water pump, belts, hoses, thermostat, carb has been rebuilt, new distributor cap and rotor, points, spark plugs, plug wires, new oil, oil cap, radiator cap, gas cap, shocks, all new brakes and most of the brake lines, wheel cylinders and wheels and tires. We have driven it and it is a blast to drive. You wont be talking on a cell phone or holding a drink in this truck, its a work out haha. Its got a 1954 235ci engine in it and a 4 speed with the granny gear. this truck is and was meant to be a work horse. its got plenty of towing power for a truck this old. It comes with some extra parts. We have new seat upholstery, door latches and strikers and carpet for the truck that just need to be installed. Its got rust in the typical spots in the cab corners and floors, but nothing serious. It would make a great restore project because the truck is so complete. We even have the original tire chains that came with the truck when it was new. Who ever gets the truck will be very pleased. This tuck will need to be picked up as I am unable to deliver it. We do accept paypal, cashiers check or good old fashion cash works best. Good luck bidding!!

Car and Driver reveals spy shots of mid-engine 2017 Corvette

Thu, Jan 8 2015

Some news in the car world is perennial, and some is perennially wrong. Typically news about some upcoming mid-engined Chevy Corvette has fallen into the latter category, with rumors never yet generating a road car. This time could very well be different. Car and Driver has some exclusive photographs of what would appear to be a Corvette test mule with a mid-mounted engine. The car in question might look like a Holden SSV ute that's undergone some indelicate modification, but C/D editor Don Sherman assures that the bones of a C8 'Vette live within that crude bodywork. Sherman points to the closeness of the cabin to the front axle as clue number one of this car's mid-engine attitude, as well as the powertrain-sized space between the back of the seats and the rear axle. The roof and glasshouse are all clearly plucked from the current C7, and the gas tank filler positioned on the B-pillar is another huge clue. The buff book estimates that the mule points to a timeline for sale, even. Testing on this level could mean a mid-engined C8 ready for sale in as few as 20 months, or for the 2017 model year. Click over to Car and Driver to have a close look at this important set of spy photographs, as well as a rendering of what a finished C8 might ultimately look like

Callaway rolls out radical Corvette C7 GT3-R at Hockenheim

Wed, Oct 7 2015

Leave it to Callaway to take a badass Corvette and make it even more so. Case in point: the new Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R you see here. It made its big debut this past weekend during the season finale for the ADAC GT Masters series at the legendary Hockenheimring – the on-again, off-again home of the German Grand Prix. Why in Germany, you ask? Because that's where Callaway Competition is based. The racing division got its start in Heilbronn as Woeher & Ciccone back in 1985. It joined with US-based Callaway Cars in 1988 to distribute its modified Corvettes in Europe, and branched out into constructing racing cars in 1994. And this is its latest project. Designed in partnership between Callaway Competition in Germany and Canadian designer Paul Deutschman, the new GT3-R replaces the previous C6-based Z06.R GT3. It packs a 6.2-liter V8 pumping 600 horsepower through an X-Trac six-speed sequential gearbox. And as you can see, it sure looks the part. Callaway will be offering the new GT3-R to privateer teams for entry in a variety of racing series around the world. But it'll also be fielding the example you see here, sponsored by Whelen Engineering that – like Callaway Cars – is based in Connecticut. Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R World Debut at Hockenheim October 3, 2015 Hockenheim, Germany – October 3, 2015 – This weekend's ADAC GT Masters Season Finale was the backdrop for the unveiling of Callaway Competition's new Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R. Following a brief presentation to media and invited guests, the successor of the C6-based Callaway Z06.R GT3 was displayed to the public for the first time on October 3, 2015 at the Hockenheimring in Germany. Constructors of GT race cars since 1990 and based in Leingarten Germany, Callaway Competition possesses a wealth of experience, technical know-how and a broad network of specialized professional partners. These elements were crucial to conduct such a large undertaking. After nearly two years of comprehensive planning, intensive development and expert fabrication of vehicle components, Callaway Competition completed the first C7 GT3-R just a few weeks ago. Its striking design comes as a result of the collaboration between Canadian designer Paul Deutschman and team owners Giovanni Ciccone and Ernst Wohr. Mike Gramke, Uwe Hoffmann, Florian Mohring and Andre Zanke were also heavily involved in the vehicle's development.

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
