1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu on 2040-cars
Reston, Virginia, United States
Happy 50th Anniversary!
It's being painted this month!! Get it now and finish the restore. 4-door sedan, 283 small block 8, AC (yep, it was an option back then) Surface rust and some holes - Fixed! The pictures are from when it was prepped for painting, so I had all of the chrome pieces taken off, but I still have them all. The price includes the paint job!! What a deal!! I ran out of cash, so my loss is your gain. Also includes $700 in new parts that have been purchased, but not installed. This is an amazing find for someone who wants to restore an original. Was sitting under cover for 25 years, and barely drive during the 25 years, prior. Still has some 'Regular' gas left in the tank. Still sitting on the original, showroom, tires. A true time capsule from the first year for this classic Chevy Chevelle Malibu. Only 44K miles on the original engine. After sitting for 24 years, I was able to crank it up on the first try. It may be haunted! Don't look in the trunk!! More pics can be provided upon request. J. Frank Parnell 7zero3-7two7-51 two4 call or text |

Here's the 2016 Chevy Camaro Convertible
Mon, Jun 22 2015Chevrolet is planning to reveal the 2016 Camaro Convertible on Wednesday, June 24. But here it is ahead of time, thanks to some leaked images found by the folks at Camaro6.com. These photos were apparently posted to Chevy's website and then immediately taken down. But they clearly show the new droptop Camaro from a number of angles, with the top both up and down. Not surprisingly, the Camaro's design hasn't changed for the convertible body style, and it looks pretty good. Have a look at the low-res images in the gallery above. We'll have the full details later this week.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
