This car is from Portland, OR. I drove it north and imported it into Vancouver and brought it home on a truck. Never seen salt or snow! It was sitting out in the rain in Portland for a few months and water ran down the windows and wrecked the beautiful leather work. The previous owner to the car was a painter/ interior guy. It had a fresh layer of paint and brand new interior until was left out in the rain. Only door panels ruined everything else is great. 

When i got it home i ripped out the original 327 motor and 2 speed power glide transmission and had them fully rebuilt. Re-strung the radiator with all new lines and hoses. Brand new Holley carburetor, front disc brake conversion kit and 2 3/4 true dual STAINLESS exhaust and MUCH more. All this car needs is a few personalized touches, a little of electrical work and it's ready for some seat time! Only serious bidders please. Buyer assumes all transportation responsability

Man spent $75 on a truck that lasted 38 years

Absurd as it is, some buyers today are worried about getting their car to last throughout the term of their seven-year car loan. Minnesota resident Bob Sportel has the opposite issue: his Chevrolet truck seemingly won't die. Sportel needed a cheap ride to get to work when he took a job at a farmer's co-op 38 years ago, so he bought a rusty 1957 Chevy pickup for $75 from a farmer; at the time, the 20-year-old truck was almost as old as Bob was. After nearly four decades of daily driving and an estimated 300,000 miles, Sportel is still driving the truck today. Bolts secure a fender, Bondo secures the lights, what looks like a whole roll of duct tape keeps him sitting on the bench seat instead of in it. For a 58-year-old pickup that's never seen a garage or a new coat of paint – but did get its oil changed four times a year – that's not bad; Sportel thinks his repair bill hasn't got above $1,000 for the entire time he's owned the truck. Chevy, Kia and Jeep win 2020 North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year

Although the Detroit Auto Show is moving to the summer, the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) awards were again announced in January. The car of the year is the 2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray. Utility of the year is the 2020 Kia Telluride. Truck of the year is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. None of these choices was particularly surprising. All of these cars were major releases that delivered on style, performance and functionality. That being said, the runners-up in each category were noteworthy, too. You can see the full list of finalists below.
