Good luck finding another Express Conversion van THIS EQUIPPED !!!
Very clean throughout, no pets, minimal wear and tear for its age, condition is very nice overall.  One previous owner (he was a pilot) !  Original price was $almost $53000 10 years ago.

Built by Explorer Vans, this top of the line ''Limited SE'' package has all the goodies and more:

Custom alloy wheels, custom body kit, front touch-screen DVD / CD / radio with graphic EQ, leather seats throughout, electric seats throughout (yes even the rear seats have power functions), beautiful soft carpet, dark wood trims throughout, lots of storage in lighted cupboards, dark tinted rear windows, privacy blinds all round (they all work perfectly and are like new), front fog lights, hi-top for convenience and space, quad overstuffed captains seats (all of them are power), power rear bench seat that folds out to be a bed (temeramental sometimes), LED flat-screen TV with separate DVD player (both fully remote control and both brand new), whole van is pre-wired for games system and each seat has its own headphones and games system controller, mood lighting on the ceiling, top side edges, and above each rear window, vacuum cleaner, lots of cup holders, cruise control, A/C in the front and a separate A/C for the back.  The list is endless.
Its a very cool setup because the driver/passenger can watch a movie or listen to music in the front DVD player/screen, while the rear passengers can watch any other DVD or play any game.  You can, if you wish, join all the functions together but I preferred to have the flexibility to listen to music and have the kids watch Netlix or play a video game in the back with headphones.  All you need for streaming Netflix or other internet is a MiFi hotspot, the TV is LED and internet ready.

5.7 liter V8 engine growls nicely and delivers good power when needed.

Only 127, 000 miles from new!!

Recently serviced, new oil, new tires all round, new brakes all round (tires and brakes are still under warranty from Pepboys, free rotation for life, paperwork included), new serpentine belt and drive pulley, basically if I thought there was something a little off with the van, I spent good time and money nmaking sure it didn't bother me any more.

She runs like a dream, starts first time, I have been from Florida to Michigan and back twice, and various beach trips.  She runs perfectly, smooth, light, solid.  A beautiful van, it will be sad to see her go.  I have 2 other cars and this is no longer required.

I don't think you will see a Chevy this good this clean with this spec anywhere.

All paperwork included from Pepboys, original sales receipt/invoice, manual, and any other paperwork on hand is all yours.
Also included is the original TV and VCR/DVD player & the removeable electric cool box w/ hot holder.

Call me to arrange a viewing 407-924-5288 7 days a week before 8pm EST.

Thank you.

PICKUP ONLY.

Flaws (minor for its age):
1/  driver seat is in condtion 7/10 - 8/10.  Overall very nice.
2/  rear bed will go down sometimes, other times it makes you wait and keep trying.
3/  front driver side front end bumper under-skirt/spoiler has small - medium cracking around the foglight (can be zoomed on photo).
4/  i cannot find the power switch for the front fog lights, unsure if they work or not.

Nissan Leaf sells 1,553 in April, Volt climbs to 905

Fri, May 1 2015

After three months in the 500 and 600 range, sales of the Chevy Volt climbed to 905 in April. That's up for the year so far – likely due to increasing discounts – but still down 41.5 percent from April 2014. As we've been saying every time the Volt turns in less-than-exciting monthly sales numbers, we suspect a large number of potential Volt buyers are waiting for the next-gen model to arrive in the second half of 2015. While the price for that car has not yet been announced, the updated tech specs show that it will probably be worth the wait for drivers who want the latest and greatest. Over on the Nissan Leaf side of things, April sales were 1,553 units this year. That's the second-best month of the year but down from the 2,088 units sold last April. After the Leaf finally climbed to the top of the cumulative best sellers list for plug-in vehicles last month, the difference between these two leaders is now 1,824 in favor of the Leaf. Nissan says that sales were influenced by the launch of its No Charge To Charge promotion in Indianapolis and Fresno, CA. This deal gives new Leaf buyers and lessees two years of no-cost quick charging in these markets. No Charge To Charge is not available in 15 US markets for (San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta) and will expand to 10 more by the middle of this year. As we do every month, our full wrap-up of US green car sales is coming soon. For now, enjoy discussing these sales figures in the Comments below.

Ford Police Interceptors dominate Michigan State Police testing

Tue, Nov 1 2016

Once again, Ford Motor Company builds the fastest police vehicles. The Blue Oval touted the news in an official release following Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department testing. Ford did very well. Except for one acceleration metric – zero to 10 miles per hour – the Blue Oval's Taurus and Explorer-based cop cars were the quickest, with particular praise coming for the EcoBoost-powered models, which bested Chevrolet and Dodge's V8-powered variants. Dearborn's products also posted the fastest average times around MSP's vehicle dynamics course. But it wasn't all positive for Ford. The only four-cylinder in the contest, the 2.0-liter, EcoBoost Ford SSP Sedan, had both the lowest top speed, 120 mph, and the slowest acceleration figures. It was also the slowest in track testing. Ford's products also failed to match the braking and top speeds of its rivals from Detroit and Auburn Hills – the rear-drive Charger Pursuit posted the best braking stats of the entire test, while the V8-powered Chevrolet Caprice hit the highest top speed, at 155 mph. Ford did score a top speed award, among SUVs, but at 132 mph, the naturally aspirated Police Interceptor Utility had to share its award with the equally fast, rear-drive Chevrolet Tahoe. The LA County Sheriff's timing isn't publicly available, but according to Ford, the EcoBoost-powered police cars put on a similarly impressive show for cops on the West Coast. We've assembled a spreadsheet on Google Docs that offers an easy to browse comparison of the different stats assembled by the Michigan State Police, and divided the vehicles between standard V6-powered sedans, high-performance sedans (EcoBoost and V8 models), and SUVs. You can check it out here. Related Video:

2015 Chevrolet Trax

Thu, Dec 4 2014

After the obligatory product presentation for the 2015 Trax, I caught up with Steve Majoros, Chevrolet's director of marketing for crossovers and cars, and asked him to elaborate on which markets his planners believe will be the hot starters for this tiny CUV. Without much hesitation, Majoros began to click off traditional sales havens for Subaru, namely, New England and the snowy bits of the East Coast, Colorado and the Pacific Northwest. That news might not surprise you, but it did me. Perhaps it's something as basic as the Trax's tall-hatchback looks, or the emphasis Chevrolet put on the urban driving cycle during my test in San Diego. But before my chat with Majoros, I'd considered this a crossover pointed at the Millennial city mouse more than his bumpkin cousin. But a closer look had me re-examining the granola cred of Chevy's smallest crossover. Having spent my fair share of time in New England and around New Englanders, I started by mentally listing the Trax's Subaru-like traits: practicality, thrift, all-weather ability and, well, just a dash of ugliness. (I suppose a hatchback needn't always be ugly to sell in Maine, or Boulder or Portland... but a 'distinctive' face doesn't seem to hurt.) After a day of driving through sunny San Diego and its surroundings, I can say that Trax makes an interesting case for itself against the standard bearers of the L.L. Bean set, but I'm less sure of its argument for young urbanites. The Trax looks a lot like an Equinox whose suit shrunk in the wash. Chevy's has downsized its own, rather conservative crossover styling to fit the proportions of the subcompact Trax; to my eyes, it looks a lot like an Equinox whose suit shrunk in the wash. That's fine for offering a cohesive look for the Chevy family of crossovers, but it seems out of step with the rest of the segment. If the Trax's current competitive set were the cast of a high school-based TV show, the Kia Soul would play the lovable nerd, the Nissan Juke perhaps the outsider musician and the Subaru XV Crosstrek the athletic outdoorsy kid. Chevy may see the Trax as the hipster chick wearing intentionally ironic mom jeans, but to me the styling is a little too on the nose; more like an actual grownup trying to hang with the kids. These mom jeans are genuine. Per my earlier point, that quasi-conservative look may be just fast enough for staid New Englanders, but I have a hard time seeing the bluff, big-Bowtied front end playing in Bushwick or Wicker Park.
