This is a clean truck most of its life it was in Vegas. The undercarriage is just about rust free. The only upgrade that i did was changed the air filter to a k&n filter for better air flow and a cleanable filter. I had one issue with it and it was the trans, the automatic trans was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago that was done by Chevrolet dealer. The truck is 4x4 and no problems. The truck has 100xxx original miles on it and all stock except after market tires and rims. Tires still have at least 90% tread on them. I have been changing the oil and every 4,000 miles with synthetic oil. There is tow hitch that comes with the truck and has the 4 prong wiring coupling. The engine is a 3.7 v5 gets about 16-19 city and 21-25 highway. I have just changed the rear drum brakes. I have new pads and rotors but the old pads are not worn out yet and the old rotors dont have enough wear. I can put the new pads and rotors on if you want me too or i can give them to you when u buy the truck. The rotors alone retail for 100 each. The 4X4 works great but haven't used it much. Also if u buy this truck you will get the chiltons manual for fixing the truck yourself saves you a lot of money. If there are any more questions e-mail me. Thanks for looking. Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
