Very clean 1969 Chevelle. This car has been a southern car all it's life and stored inside for many years. The floors and trunk are original to the car and have NO repairs. The sheet metal is fantastic. The driver side quarter was replaced a while back with a nos full quarter, not due to rust but had a dent and previous owner did not want it bumped out and filled, the quarter replacement was professionally done and looks / fits great. The paint is about 1 year old and looks awesome! All the trim is new or real nice originals. All weather stripes are new. The tires are like new with 15 x 8 Rallys. The engine runs excellent no smoke, no funny noises and really sounds good thru the Flowmaster exhaust system. The engine is a stock 402 from a 1971 Chevelle, engine code CLB, again it runs excellent. No headers, stock manifolds.
The interior I would also consider excellent, the seats are perfect, no cracks in the dash, headliner is perfect, original door panels are real nice as well as the original carpet. The car only has 73,420 miles on the odometer and it shows it has been well taken care of. The bumpers have been rechromed. The front suspension has also been rebuilt with new bushings, tie rods, and ball joints. The car needs nothing...unless you want a posi rear. It still has the original open 10 bolt. The trans is a turbo 350 with mild shift kit.
This is just an excellent car. I looked at a lot of junk before buying this one. There just isn't many like this left.
The car is sold as is and where is. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I will make myself available if shipping is required. I suggest getting ship quotes from uship.com. I also reserve the right to end the auction at any time. A $500 deposit is required immediately after ends via paypal.
Good Luck Bidding.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

Looking back at the Citation IV concept that likely shaped the GM EV1
Wed, Aug 20 2014Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. We're not sure how that applies to the GM EV1, but we'd still like to share something from Autoline Daily, an online automotive new show with our friend John McElroy. He's been covering the business for decades now and recently found something interesting: pictures of the 1984 Chevrolet Citation IV concept, seen above. Displayed half a decade before the first electric concept that would become the EV1 (inset), McElroy says it's now clear that the elegant, aerodynamic EV1 took a lot of styling cues from the Citation IV, which was developed in part thanks to GM's new-at-the-time Aerodynamics Laboratory. We agree with him that the spats over the rear wheels, the flush glass, and the covered headlights all bear a certain kind of similarity between the two cars. That the colors almost match is a nice coincidence. The Impact (the concept version of the EV1) looked "frumpier," McElroy says, because it wasn't as long as the Citation. You can read a lot more about the Citation IV here and check out McElroy's thoughts in the video below. Find the Citation starting at around 3:45. This content is hosted by a third party.
