This is not what I would consider a concourse show car but that is because I am very particular. I have had this car out twice and won both shows it was in. The paint is excellent (not flawless) but extremely show worthy! (To elaborate- a flawless paint job is just that to me. It is perfect and I have seen very few that I would consider flawless.) The interior in this car is very nice with a near original look and feel with a few small custom modifications. This car looks absolutely stunning and is very drivable. It runs at 185 Degrees with the air on in the Arizona heat. Goes down the road very straight and has minimal air bag bounce. I have built, bought and sold several muscle cars and this is definitely one of the best I have owned. I built this car to drive and keep, but due to needing more space and having several other projects, I need to sell this car. I have listed several cars on EBay and have sold every one of them. I give very honest descriptions and am easy to deal with. I do not over price my cars trying to catch someone who does not know any better, I price them well below market with no reserve so that you know you are bidding to buy and own this car. There is nothing worse than getting your finances in order to buy a car, only to end up chasing an inflated reserve. THIS CAR IS FOR SALE < SO BID TO WIN! I will also be listing this car locally and for that reasonI have listed a buy it know in this auction. If you are interested in this cardo not wait to buy it, it will sell. I am relatively open to an offer on thecar as long as it makes sense, so feel free to email any questions or offers you have. Please do not offer anything less than the starting price, I will not accept. As stated above, the starting price on this incredible car is well below its actual value, and well below what it would cost you to build.Do not let the starting price be any indicator of this cars value, the other cars priced this low ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS THISCAR! As with any other car this age, it is being sold as is withno implied or expressed warranties. Please do not bid if you do not intend to complete thepurchase, as I will incur fee’s and it is not fair to a legitimate buyer. Please feel free to check out my feedback, I always under describe a car so that I do not ever have an unhappy buyer and I am very cooperative in finalizing the transaction. Enjoy and good luck! On Sep-20-14 at 11:41:42 PDT, seller added the following information: With the auction getting close to the end, I am receiving several emails about buy it now price as well as questions about description and condition. Now that the auction is within 1 day of ending, I WILL NOT END THE AUCTION. I do not believe that doing that would be the right thing to do. As far as the car... This is an exceptionally nice driver car. It will win most local shows that you attend, but this is not a $100k concourse car. I build very nice affordable drivers. The paint shows very well but is not perfect and does have some very minor blems. The engine is very solid. If you leave it idle for too long it will load up because I run 1 step colder plug than it calls for and do this deliberately. The frame is not powder coated, it is PPG Black single stage paint. The car was not on a rotisserie, it was built frame on, so the paint under the car is not flawless. I deliberately painted it rather than undercoat it so that it would confirm no rust. Painting the belly while the car was together, it can not be done to a true show quality. Many have asked what the car needs and I would answer by saying a rear sway bar. I like to drive it low and if you corner too tight it will sway and the front tire will scrub. You can eliminate this by simply putting more air in the bags and riding a little higher. When the car sits the brake booster will lose its vacuum, it takes just a minute to build back up, but at first movement it will feel as if the brakes are not working properly. It is a brand new booster, master, lines, calipers, shoes etc.... So this is not a problem.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please call. I do not want an unhappy buyer and this car will sell.
If you are a Zero feedback bidder, please make sure you intend to finalize this purchase. Many sellers will block Zero feedback bidders, I will not. Everyone bought thier first item once. Please just be serious. I will be selling a few more cars from my collection and they are extremely nice cars built for me personally. Please feel free to follow my eBay page so that you will have a chance to see them. You can visit my facebook page to see photo's of several cars that I have built. From driver quality up to amazing show quality.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.
GM may have teased a whole group of electric vehicles
Tue, Jan 12 2021During GM's big CES press conference, the automaker highlighted a number of its upcoming electric car-related projects from delivery vans to the upcoming flagship Cadillac Celestiq. In the middle of it all, a collection of mystery cars sat in the background behind speakers. They were in the dark, lit only with their running lights, and while it's possible they're just generic filler cars or concepts, we think they could be future products. Our best shot of the cars together is shown above, and we can pretty easily identify three of the vehicles. In the center is obviously the GMC Hummer EV. On either side of it are Cadillacs. To the left seems to be the Lyriq crossover, and to the right is the Celestiq sedan. Two of these cars have production dates, and the third has been confirmed for eventual production, just without timing. This is why we think the rest of the cars are upcoming models. The next most easily identified car is on the near right behind the Cadillac Celestiq. It very clearly has a Chevy bowtie illuminated in the running lights. And looking closely, it appears to be a pickup truck. It's difficult to make out anything more than that. The nose does look a bit more rounded and swept back than the brick-like designs of the Silverado truck line. That also squares with what seemed to be the upcoming truck that appeared in the background of yet another GM presentation. GM previously said this electric Chevy truck will be a full-size model with up to 400 miles of range. That leaves us with three more mysterious models. Over to the left behind the Cadillac Lyriq are what appear to be a pair of crossovers. The one on the far left looks low, curvy, and possibly with a fastback roof. The one on the right is taller, boxier, and probably more of a full-size people hauler. It's hard to say much more beyond that. They could be new electric Buicks, which would fit in nicely with that brand's crossover portfolio, and would likely be highly successful in China, where Buicks, crossovers and electric cars are all rather hot commodities. As for the mystery car on the far right, it's quite a puzzle. We can at least rule out Buick and Cadillac, and GMC since it's definitely a car, and a rather small one compared with the other cars on display. That leaves Chevy, and possibly the autonomous division Cruise. We're leaning toward it being a Chevy, since the first Cruise vehicle is going to be a boxy pod of sorts.
Cruze Diesel Road Trip reveals the good and bad, but no ugly
Tue, Mar 31 2015Most of us have strong opinions on diesel-powered cars based on our perceptions of and experience with them. I used to thoroughly dislike oil burners for their noise, smoke and lackluster performance, and the fact that they ran on greasy, smelly stuff that was more expensive than gasoline, could be hard to find and was nasty to get on your hands when refueling. Those negatives, for me, trumped diesel's major positives of big torque for strong acceleration and better fuel economy. Are any of those knocks on diesel still valid today? I'm not talking semis, which continue to annoy me when their operators for some reason almost never shut them down. At any busy truck stop, the air seems always filled with the sound – and sometimes smell – of dozens of big-rig diesels idling endlessly and mindlessly. Or diesel heavy-duty pickups. Those muscular workhorses are far more refined than they once were and burn much less fuel than their gasoline counterparts. But good luck arriving home late at night, or departing early morning, without waking your housemates and neighbors with their clattery racket. No, I'm talking diesel-powered passenger cars, which account for more than half the market in Europe (diesel fuel is cheaper there) yet still barely bump the sales charts in North America. Diesel fuel remains more expensive here, too few stations carry it, and too many Americans remember when diesel cars were noisy, smelly slugs. Also, US emissions requirements make them substantially more expensive to certify, and therefore to buy. But put aside (if you can) higher vehicle purchase and fuel prices, and today's diesel cars can be delightful to drive while delivering much better fuel efficiency than gas-powered versions. So far in the US, all except Chevrolet's compact Cruze Diesel come from German brands, and all are amazingly quiet, visually clean (no smoke) and can be torquey-fun to drive. When a GM Powertrain engineering team set out to modify a tried-and-true GM of Europe turbodiesel four for North American Chevy Cruze compacts, says assistant chief engineer Mike Siegrist, it had a clear target in mind: the Volkswagen Jetta TDI 2.0-liter diesel. And they'll tell you that they beat it in nearly every way. "I believe we have a superior product," he says. "It's powerful, efficient and clean, and it will change perceptions of what a diesel car can be." The 2.0L Cruze turbodiesel pumps out 151 SAE certified horses and 264 pound-feet of torque (at just 2,000 rpm) vs.
