Here's a very nice 2000 Chevrolet K3500 that runs excellent. Hard to find 1 Ton, crew cab 4x4 truck. The 7.4 Vortec runs quiet and smooth and makes lots of power. The new owner is going to love this truck. These are getting harder and harder to come by every year. The body does have a few minor  dings & scratches, (refer to the photos). But.... the truck is in very good condition. I will give you an accurate description of this vehicle to the best of my ability, and you will drive away with an incredibly nice truck. The paint is original as far as I can tell with the exception of the hood, There are no foul odors of any kind inside. The front and rear seats are in excellent condition. It does not smell like cigarettes inside. The carpet is clean. The entire vehicle shows pride of ownership inside and out. It's very obvious it has been cared for. The 7.4 Vortec engine starts up immediately on the 1st crank. No squeels, leaky injectors, smoke, knocks, drips, ect...! The front brakes are new including the rotors. This is a nice example of the classic body style truck that is going to make the owner want to keep it forever. Interior wise, all of the windows go up and down but not all power door locks work, Radio works. Horn works, lights all work, heater works, Air conditioning blows COLD, 4x4 High and low range works, shifter is on the floor and the front end engauges immediately. The transmission shifts crisply and firmly as it should through all the gears. As nice as this K3500 is, it obviously isn't brand new, and it isn't showroom perfect. It's nice though. Especially for the  year and its low mileage . The tires are in Fair to good condition. The wheels are after market alloy. All emissions equipment is in place and un-tampered with and has just been smoged, The glass and windshield are all perfect. Overall, it's actually an impressive truck.  Since I am only human, there's a chance I've missed something. Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs

General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. Seventies super-salesman challenges new car-sales record

Some of the fondest memories from my youth were the Sunday afternoons spent walking between rows of new and used cars. This preceded the advent of widely available internet, so the cars didn't sell themselves online: A tentative buyer had to come see the cars in the metal, with old-school salesmen taking well-earned smoke breaks after putting someone behind the wheel of a new Saab 900. All-inclusive subscription services were unheard of. If you open a Guinness records book and look up car salesmen, you'll find Joe Girard. The definitely old-school Detroit salesman regularly sold over 1,000 new cars per year, with a particular high point of 1,425 cars in 1973 guaranteeing him a mention in the Guinness book. To reach that kind of sales figure, you had to be a pretty special salesman, and Girard was. He didn't take breaks unless absolutely necessary, and even his lunch hours were dedicated to selling more cars instead of shooting the breeze with other sales persons. By 1977 he was worn through, having sold over 13,000 cars in his career, and his physique couldn't take it anymore. He's been a motivational speaker since. Now, 44 years later, a Dearborn, Mich., Cadillac and Chevrolet salesman named Ali Reda has reportedly broken Girard's record. The books at Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac say Reda sold 1,530 new cars and 52 used cars in 2017, averaging 130 vehicles per month. But after Girard, 89, heard of the sales record, he called his attorney, not letting his record be broken without a fight — or at least an audit. The Dearborn dealer isn't too concerned about Girard's doubts, at least according to Gary Stanford, whose father founded the dealership. "It's very official, trust me," said Stanford to the Detroit Free Press. "Ali is the hardest worker I've ever seen. And if someone doesn't believe the data, well, they're more than welcome to consult with GM. It's all there in black and white." What Girard doesn't get is that Reda was honoring him with the accomplishment. "I read his book, 'How to Sell Anything to Anybody,' and it said it would teach you how to become the best," said Reda, who at age 44 was a newborn when Girard hit his peak. "He's an absolute legend in the industry. Your whole career, you're chasing his name.
