1976 Chevy Scotsdale Stepside Short Wheel Base 1/2 Ton Show Truck Nice on 2040-cars
Montrose, Colorado, United States

This is my 76 Chevy 4x4. This truck has been restored and Shines like you wouldn’t believe!!! Nice chrome and a painted undercarriage.
The truth is I simply don’t drive it enough to justify owning it any longer. It has been stored indoors under a cover constantly since it has been refinished.
The engine has less than 14,000 miles on it. It’s has a balanced 4 bolt main 350 punched .030 over, ISKY cam, HEI, Taylor wires, ceramic coated headers, Flow Master 3“ exhaust, Edelbrock performer intake and Edelbrock 650 carb. Engine RUNS very strong.
This truck has a 4" lift, 4 speed tranny, and 373 gears. This truck has been taken down to the frame on the second build. The hood, both front fenders, and doors have been replaced with OEM GM replacements. Rear fenders came from a 2wheel drive and were perfect. The drivers side now comes with a fuel door which was not original equipment. It has no rust or dents. There are a couple of very minor easy to miss door dings on the passenger side.
Truck has a certified VIN and clear title.
The paint and finish body work was done by a Company known as “Finish Line” The painter is clearly a paint perfectionist who has painted several Barrett Jackson sales muscle cars. He used Spiece Hecker base clear for paint, wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. The paint job is literally unreal!!
The tailgate is covered by a vented tailgate cover that has been painted to match the truck, the chains were eliminated (Due to their tendency to rub and chip the painted surfaces). It was fitted with internal bed latches and the bed rail ends were closed. All the bed pieces were painted separately and reassembled when finished. The interior and jams were painted to match. The bed is finished with white oak and the strips are painted to match.
Inside the truck it features a tilt wheel, rear slider and floor to ceiling custom interior. The seat is a high back Qualitext 60/40 with Chevy logos and in the center is an oak console. Seat Belts and Sun Visors have not been replaced.
33x12.50's tires on 15x10 Centerline Hellcats wheels. The truck has not been off pavement since final paint and has been driven about 4000 miles. To say the least I have a pile of money in this truck. My loss is your gain. I would be happy to answer any questions over the phone or e-mail. Have Tons of pictures and I can take more on request.
Truck is being sold is used and is being sold “AS-IS” and buyer understands that there are no guarantees expressed or implied. This truck was rebuilt and sold to me by another party and all the information contained has been passed on from the original owner.
Buyer is solely responsible for pickup and delivery. Thanks and good luck On Sep-13-14 at 16:05:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I will Also include an Appraisal that was completed about four years ago. Very helpful when you go to insure the truck. |

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee teases return with a Countach
Fri, May 29 2015Unless you have an intense aversion to Jerry Seinfeld, it's hard not to find something to like about his show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. After all, the series combines funny people telling often hilarious stories while riding in ridiculously cool vehicles. The trailer for the sixth season is now online, and based on this tease, this definitely looks worth watching no matter what part of the videos interest you. Of course, it's the automotive portion that really grabs us, and Seinfeld has quite a fleet to showcase for season six. The trailer shows off a Lamborghini Countach, a '57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, a classic Volkswagen Beetle in the green and white German Polizei livery, a Morgan, an Aston Martin DB5, and a Ferrari 308. On the more humorous side of things, the guest list at least includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and upcoming host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah. Season six of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee premieres on Crackle on Wednesday, June 3, at 11:30 PM ET.
GM tinkering with Silverado, Sierra model mix amidst strong early sales
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. That's a lesson that is currently being taught to General Motors, because despite a strong showing from its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the General's pickup sales still can't best those of cross-town rival Ford.
With 59,163 trucks moved, GM fell just over 1,000 units short of toppling Ford, and one of the main reasons for that, according to GM's chief sales analyst, was due to a lack of variety in the engines and body styles available on dealer lots. "We are still over-weighted toward crew-cab V8 trucks. Our light-duty mix will moderate over time as our launch progresses," said Kurt McNeil.
Loading dealers with the popular combination of the 5.3-liter V8 and the four-door, Crew Cab body style was intentional during the truck's launch, but as supplies of leftover 2013 models, which are being sold at heavy incentives, are beginning to wane, both budget-conscious and high-dollar buyers are looking elsewhere instead of at the volume model pickups.
