R uns great. New 35in tires. Dana 60 axels front and rear. Low geared for off road use; however it can be driven easily on the road. i bought it and it had not moved in yrs and did not run so i had the pickup guys winch it on the truck and winched it off and put in my gar i new the motor turned so i worked on it a couple days cleaned carb changed oil checked wires and finally saw where it was not hooked up fron starter to battery and went to check it and it started rite up but did not let it run cause of the gas the man said do not run it on the gas thats in it very old so i hooked it up to a can of new hi oct gas with elect pump and 5gal of gas and started it up run great and has nice mufflers on it shifter a little loose but worked and backed out of my gar and let it run about 10min checked under the hood nothing bad had oil and water still in it good oil pressure that gauge worked rest need to be hooked up temp,gas tach,volts etc glass good wipers work brakes are great lights out work with not much work u could take off with it bud i am 65 and need a ladder to get in it i have a new knee i had a couple mech look at it and said the front and rear 3rd members were either 60s in back and 50 dana in front build very solid and rides nice . i am done as far as i can go on it so i will work on a 48 5window chevy all orig even 90percent of the paint i was told so the 67 is ready for sombody younger to have fun with and get all the looks good luck low reserve look it up in nada book for a 67very good shortbox price i am way below that so buy your 4wheeler now with a rare motor set up and 400auto

2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim

Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.

EcoCar3 will convert Camaro to bitchin' eco rides

In the 47-year-history of the Chevrolet Camaro, there have been countless college-age kids spending a ton of time getting under the hood and souping 'em up. Now, General Motors is adding a twist to the concept by donating 16 Camaros for the EcoCar challenge that puts university teams together to wring out better fuel-efficiency out of various vehicles. No word on whether there will be donuts on anyone's lawn, as suggested by 80's punks the Dead Milkmen, but the idea's never a bad one. EcoCar3 will feature 16 teams such as Arizona State, Penn State, Ontario's University of Waterloo and, of course, Detroit's Wayne State University. They'll spend the next four years "[reducing] environmental impact, while maintaining the muscle and performance expected from this iconic American car," as the EcoCar organizers say. The goal is to maintain body design and safety standards while boosting efficiency and lowering emissions, but the actual process is far more complicated than that description suggests. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Bosch are among the sponsors of the contest, which is also put on by the US Department of Energy and managed by Argonne National Laboratory. Penn State won Year Two of the three-year EcoCar 2 competition with its E85 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle converted out of a Chevy Malibu.
