Purchased new in April 2011. It has every available option except
heated rear view mirrors. I am the original owner. Truck has been
garage kept since new.
100% dealer serviced w/ all records. Full bumper to bumper extended warranty. Tires are original. extras I've added: weathertech floor mats installed front and rear - carpet is flawless rear under seat organizer in-channel vent visors on all windows 20% tint added to all windows center console vault with 3 digit combination lock Under the hood I replaced the original battery with 2 red top deep cycle batteries hooked up in parallel for increased battery capacity. Once the main battery is charged fully, the cole hersee smart isolator switch allows the 2nd battery to be charged. This keeps the alternator under a normal load without any additional strain to charge 2 batteries (Odyssey main battery & Optima auxilary battery). I also added a K&N cold air intake and recently replaced the filter with a new one at 40k miles. other extras not currently installed: original airbox assembly original floor mats in mint condition removeable tow mirrors Yakima bike rack set up for top of bed (great for bikes or tying down cargo) no-drill bug/rock deflector for hood (used when I would take longer trips) removable mud flaps (rear currently installed) front flaps still brand new in package old K&N filter that can be cleaned and re-used. Why I'm selling: My job over the last 4 years has allowed me to work from home or basically anywhere I have an internet connection. I am an outdoor kind of person and I've done some traveling in the Avalanche, but recently purchased a motorhome and don't have a need for the truck right now. I would love to keep it for it's comfort and cargo capacity, but feel it would be best used by someone else while it's still under warranty and not sitting in a garage for months at a time. It's a really nice truck and I can assure you that the new owner won't be disappointed! |

Chevy Bolt officially keeping name, says marketing boss
Thu, Apr 16 2015There might be just a little confusion at first, but the Bolt name is sticking around. After conducting two consumer studies into the name, Chevrolet isn't worried about the similarity of the monikers for the upcoming EV and existing Volt plug-in hybrid. In fact, the brand thinks the resemblance might be for the best. "The decision is made. The name won't be changed." Chevy head of marketing Tim Mahoney said to The Detroit Free Press. The research shows that the compatibility between the two names actually works quite well. With the Volt well established, people apparently already connect the Bolt to the Bowtie, which is just what a brand wants. Both studies indicated the ""same result, it did well," according to Mahoney. Just a few months ago, the future of the Bolt's name wasn't so clear. GM North America President Alan Batey said the company knew there might be confusion, and it was still mulling its options. The Bolt could be a breakthrough in the EV market with a 200-mile range and a possible price of around $30,000 after incentives. Production is set for the Orion Assembly plant in Michigan following a $200 million upgrade there, and the model could be in dealers as soon as 2017. That's just in time to take on the Tesla Model 3 with its claimed $35,000 price and similar driving distance as the Chevy. Related Video:
Chevy: The Big Game
Mon, Feb 2 2015Chevrolet took an early lead for the 2015 Super Bowl advertising crown with its spot for the all-new, 4G LTE-capable Colorado pickup in a spot that simulated a problem with your TV. The stark, simple ad then states that if you're lucky enough to have an Internet-capable vehicle, like the new Colorado, you'd at least be able to stream the game. A clever, chuckle-inducing spot if there was one. Check out our full write up of the new, 2015 Colorado. Marketing/Advertising Chevrolet Truck Super Bowl Commercials Videos 2015 super bowl ad
2016 Chevy Volt orders start tomorrow
Thu, May 28 2015For anyone in California who wants to be among the first adopters of the 2016 Chevrolet Volt, then May 28 is very important. Dealers in the Golden State get to be first to place orders for the range-extended electric vehicle on that day, but buyers in the rest of the US just have to wait a few months until their turn comes. This info comes from dealer data gathered by Inside EVs and confirmed by General Motors to AutoblogGreen. According to these slides, dealers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont must wait until August 27 to place an order for the Volt. Finally, the reservations for the rest of the nation open up on October 1. The first production of these new models starts in August after a six-week shutdown at the Hamtramck factory to prepare for it. We already know that the 2016 Volt starts at $33,170, plus $825 destination, before federal or state incentives and is available in seven exterior colors and five interior upholstery options. The sedan is offered in LT and LTZ trims. Opting for the higher level adds features like an upgraded audio system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, front and rear heated leather seats, wireless device charging, and Automatic Park Assist. A navigation system on an 8-inch screen and safety assist suite are also optional, according to these documents. Related Video:
