2008 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ 4wd

We bought this car from an insurance company in July which at the time had minor front end damage. Unlike most salvage/rebuilt vehicle listing we went ahead and included all photos from the insurance listing. There were no damage to the drivetrain, no airbags deployed and no frame/suspension damage. This Avalanche has been fully repaired with new replacement parts. No metal bending, fiberglass, etc. all panels replaced and repaired professionally. Paint color matches entire vehicle with no color matching issues. Also vehicle received a full buff and detail job to the exterior so there are no scuffs or scratches to be seen.

It runs and drives perfect all options in working condition. Dash is free of all ‘check engine’ lights. This was definitely a non-smoker’s vehicle; leather is in overall great condition.

Vehicle was recently serviced at local Chevrolet dealership. Front wheel alignment was done. Adjustment made was from regular wear. Nothing related to the collision.

As you can see we added some upgrades to the LTZ avalanche:

Black Diamond/EXT Cladding Panels with 3rd brake light and chrome tailgate handle.

Chrome door molding.

Escalade style side mirrors.

Custom grille package for the front bumper; color match front bumper lip.

Paint match bowtie emblems and debadged emblems.

Gas charged HID xenon system for headlamp lighting.

Tires have more than 75% tread on them, so you will not need new tires anytime soon.

The current title is a Missouri salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, and affidavit of reconstruction from professional shop. You will need this as well as a VIN verification from your local state or highway patrol. This only takes a few minutes and they will verify and inspect that the title matches the listed vehicle.

The reason we or any other dealer selling repaired salvage vehicles does not have this title ‘rebuilt ready’ is because we are then forced to register it personally which would involve us paying the full sales tax and property tax for the following year. It is in the best interest and cost efficient for the seller and new owner if the new owner titles it back at their home state and get the rebuilt title that way. Again, please check with your state before bidding.

Vehicle mileage is at 95,256. But shop owner is currently driving this vehicle as a daily driver so this will reflect the mileage at time of sale. ALSO the vehicle is also listed for sale locally so we reserve the right to end auction at any time.

If you have any further questions please give us a call or text @ 479-445-0304 during respectful time.

Thank You.

Auto Show Notebook: Legendary Continental name inspired Lincoln's designers

Thu, Apr 2 2015

What's in a name? A lot for the Continental concept, and it gave Lincoln designers a sense of purpose as they styled the brand's upcoming flagship sedan. "The moment that we told them, it was amazing," Lincoln president Kumar Galhotra said. "They totally got it." "It" is cutting-edge technology wrapped in stately, large-sedan design. It's a nod to Lincoln's storied past, but a signpost for where the brand is heading. Though the Continental name dates to the late 1930s, Lincoln designers avoided making the concept overtly retro. "You can't let it pull yourself back too far in history, but you've got to design a car that lives up to the name," Galhotra said. Speaking to Autoblog on the floor of the New York Auto Show where the Continental formally debuted Wednesday, the Lincoln president reiterated that the car is on track to launch in 2016. It will compete against the Audi A6, Lexus GS, BMW 5 Series and other large luxury sedans. After its debut, the concept in New York will fly to China – another critical market for Lincoln – for display there. It will be replaced in New York by a prototype without an interior. The Continental is the latest high profile play by Lincoln to raise its image with consumers, who have either ignored or forgotten about it amid steep competition in the luxury sector from German and Japanese brands and a potentially resilient Cadillac. Lincoln sales are essentially flat compared with 2014 through the first quarter of this year, with total volume of 21,478 units. The middling start to 2015 comes on the heels of nearly 16-percent sales growth last year spurred by the launch of the MKC and the prominent signing of Matthew McConaughey to star in Lincoln advertisements. Other News, Notes & Quotes Speaking of names, Chevrolet did its homework before deciding to proceed with "Malibu" for its new generation of midsize cars. "We went out and researched it," said Alan Batey, president of General Motors North America. "People actually like the name 'Malibu,'" he said. Admittedly, the current Malibu has struggled in the marketplace against entrenched competitors, Batey said, but he's optimistic its awareness and historical value are assets to the dramatically redesigned sedan."The name's strong," he said. Meanwhile, in other Chevy news, the brand kicked off a new marketing campaign, "Real People, Not Actors" Wednesday. It will show consumers interacting with Chevys and their spontaneous reactions to the vehicles.

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Corvette + fireworks = so much glory

Fri, Jul 3 2015

You might think that those of us making our living by reviewing cars, think critically about the cars we're driving most of the time. It could be that I'm an underachiever, but that's not the case with me. In fact, unless I'm set to the review task, I typically think about the cars in front of and around me more frequently. That's because a) you never know what you're going to see out there, and b) all of them could be out to bump/scratch/tailgate/crash me out. You can never be too careful. Such was the case when I was driving a 2015 Chevy Corvette earlier this week. I'd already had my fun finding the edges of grip on a river road in the car, the night before; on the morning in question I was just trying to get to work. But while scanning the suburban streets for potential dangers to the 'Vette's neat-o Daytona Sunrise orange paint, I spied a XXL-sized fireworks tent in an empty parking lot. Oh right, I remembered, 4th of July weekend. That obvious bit of observation lead to a chain of thought along these lines: "We should do something with this car for the 4th" ... "Too bad I have to give it back tomorrow." ... "Wonder if I could do a quick video?" ... "Wonder if I can set off a bunch of fireworks in slow-mo for a video?" The result, well, I won't call it genius, but I will say that I remember why every kid loves fireworks. And I will call it glorious. Happy 4th, y'all.
