1971 Cadillac Coupe Deville

89k original miles
472 Big Block Engine Runs Great and is all Factory
Automatic Transmission(my have shift kit...has firm shift)
The Body is the nicest and straightest you will see. Straight and NO RUST
The paint job is baby blue and was done by a top rate professional painter! Looks like factory new paint
There are a few minor blemishes or scratches that could probably be buffed out but can't get to show up in pictures.
Custom Dual Exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and quad tips
Custom Naked Lady Hood Ornament
Custom Headlight Eyelids
22 inch chrome 100 spoke rims wrapped in like new Tires
The rims are practically perfect minus a ding or scratch in one small place on each. They are very nice and shiny but not new and i want to disclose every little thing.
I have the factory Hubcaps and they will be included so you can easily return this to original.
The interior seats have a really cool factory design to them. The back seats are in great shape. The headliner is in great shape. The only issue is some seperation in the fabric on the front seat as seen in the picture. The only other flaws with the interior is that where you rest your arm on the door panels, there is a crack. It would take very minimal restoration to make this interior PERFECT!
There is an aftermarket CD Player installed and it works great. The speakers actually sound really good.
All the lights work inside and out along with Brights and Dim Headlights functioning perfectly
Brakes work great
Power steering works great
It does have all the AC components in place and in good shape but the AC compressor clutch is bad. It would be very easy to have functioning AC in this car again.
The heater does in fact work properly.
All 4 power windows work perfectly!
Nice mirrored tint really sets off the look of the car!
The chrome is all nice and shiny and in great shape
This car gets looks everywhere I drive it!
You will never find a straighter and prettier Cadillac. I can assure you of that.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE LAST CAR I WANTED TO SELL BUT I AM FORCED TO SELL ALL MY CLASSIC CARS IN ORDER TO NAVIGATE MY FINANCIAL PLAN AS NECESSARY!

You can see i have 100% positive feedback so if you have any questions just ask and i will answer them truthfully. Please no lowball offers. If you don't appreciate this car for what it is, then please don't bother until you do your research.

2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport [w/video]

Bridging The Gap With Power And Poise
As you read these words, West Coast Editor Michael Harley is preparing to drive the brand-new 2014 Cadillac CTS along the gorgeous, sun-drenched roads of Southern California. And while I'll wait for Harley's full report before I put words in his mouth, I'm willing to bet he enjoys the hell out of Cadillac's new CTS. In fact, I'm sure of it.
I say this with confidence because, about a month ago, I spent the better part of a day flogging the new CTS Vsport around the 2.9-mile Milford Road Course - a challenging circuit laid out in the infield of an oval test track at GM's proving grounds in southeast Michigan. The MRC was built about a decade ago after Bob Lutz was lured out of retirement to work closely with GM's product development team, and thus, this circuit is known informally as the "Lutz Ring." The main objective of the MRC was to have an in-house facility for engineers to fine-tune vehicle dynamics, without having to constantly schlep cars over to Germany's infamous Nürburgring. (Of course, they still do.)

Cadillac can't keep up with Escalade demand, can't move its sedans

Wed, Feb 11 2015

No matter how much Cadillac revitalizes its lineup and its image, it seems that all consumers want is the Escalade. In fact, Automotive News reports that General Motors can't keep up with demand for the fullsize luxury SUV, despite sticker prices that start at over $70,000 and approach six figures at the top end of the spectrum. Contrast that with sedans like the ATS and CTS, which are far cheaper but which Cadillac hasn't been able to move fast enough to keep up with production, prompting both the manufacturer and dealers to offer substantial incentives to keep them from piling up. Cadillac had been resisting a price cut of the ATS or CTS, lest it hurt resale values – itself a factor that could explain consumers' reluctance to buy them in the first place – but been offering subsidized leases, discounted financing, rebates and cheaper options. Combined with incentives from individual dealers, according to AN, buyers can be looking at five-figure discounts on buying a new Cadillac sedan. And now, finally, it seems the CTS will indeed get a little bit off its bottom line. Yet GM has been producing the ATS and CTS at rates that their sales can't keep up with. The automaker was forced to idle the plant in Lansing, MI, where it assembles the ATS and CTS for six weeks starting this past December. And since it reopened late in January, it's been reduced to a single shift as dealers try to move the metal they've already got. Meanwhile the plant in Arlington, TX, that produces the Escalade and its Chevy and GMC siblings has been running on overtime, with three shifts throughout the week and even into the weekend to keep up with demand. Profitable as it's been for Cadillac and GM, though, the Escalade does not represent the future of where it wants to take the brand - separating the Escalade as almost a brand unto itself that's been left out of the company's new naming scheme. If only it could make its sedans as successful as its fullsize SUVs, it'll be all set.

Petrolicious eats up Rita Hayworth's 1953 Cadillac Ghia

Wed, Feb 11 2015

The automotive industry has seem some wonderful transoceanic collaborations between America and Italy, from the Ford-powered De Tomasos of the 1960s to the alliance between Fiat and Chrysler today. Of course it's also seen unfortunate experiments in between like the Chrysler TC by Maserati and the Pininfarina-bodied Cadillac Allante. But before any of those, there was a beautiful tradition of rebodying American steel at the hands of Italian carrozzerie. And this could easily be among the most gorgeous of them all. It's a Cadillac Series 62 from 1953 with bodywork by Ghia. It's one of only two made, and has a star-studded history. The car was purchased by Aly Khan, prince of the Nizari Ismaili muslims and Pakistan's ambassador to the United Nations, for his wife... who just so happened to be the inimitable Rita Hayworth. They split up, but she held on to the car. Today it's part of the permanent collection at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA, so the videographical artisans at Petrolicious went by to check it out. You'll want to as well in the five-minute short above.
