1992 Superior Buick Roadmaster 44" Six Door Limousine
Very Rare! 1992 was the only year allowed by General Motors to convert the Buick Roadmaster into a limousine by approved Cadillac Master Coachbuilders (CMC). By 1993 when the new body style 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood was available, the Buick Roadmaster limo was no longer available. The Buick Roadmaster was still available as a hearse until 1996. There was a very limited number of Buick Roadmaster limousines produced. To find one in this condition, with such low miles that was funeral home owned it's whole life is a very rare find.
This limousine was converted by Superior Coaches in Lima, OH:
- (6) Door Handles
- Rear Heat & A/C Controls in Driver's Compartment w/ Overhead Vents
- Full Vinyl Limousine Top
- Limo Tinted Windows
- 44" Stretch
Excellent Condition! This limousine was originally owned by a Missouri funeral home. We took it in trade from an Iowa funeral home where it was still in service. Typical under carriage rust. Drives Great!
- A/C Blows Cold
- All new Brakes and Brake Lines installed
- Body is in Exceptional Condition
- Burgundy Velour Interior is in Exceptional Condition... No Drinking and No Smoking ever!
I do this for a living and you just don't see these. If you are affiliated with the Professional Car Society or just looking for unique vehicle that was converted by a professional coachbuilder and not just someone in his garage...This Is It! To view more photos of this limousines please go to 4hearse.com. Currently this limo is located at our Twin Cities Office in Ramsey, MN. To schedule a visit to view this vehicle, please call John at 763.576.3934. Any questions, please email me through EBay.

Hertz and GM team up to put 175,000 rental EVs on the road
Tue, Sep 20 2022Hertz and General Motors have announced a significant partnership that will send up to 175,000 electric vehicles into rental fleets across the country. The deal will unfold over the next five years and include vehicles from all GM brands. Â The partnership will run through 2027. Hertz estimates that the electric fleet can save as many as 8 billion gasoline-powered miles, removing 1.8 million metric tons of carbon dioxide-equivalent emissions from the air. Hertz says it will invest in becoming the largest renter of EVs in North America and notes that it already has tens of thousands available at 500 locations in 38 states. By the end of 2024, it plans to electrify a quarter of its fleet. Electric rental cars are a great way for travelers wanting to avoid gas, and they make excellent urban commuter cars. Hertz will also likely save a few dollars by avoiding oil changes and other routine maintenance that gas engines need. However, a hidden societal benefit of this deal may come when Hertz’s EV rental customers begin shopping for new cars. Many people are skeptical of EVs for various reasons, including range, charging, ease of operation, and cost. Giving people a low-risk introduction to EVs and the ability to test-drive one without a pressuring salesperson could drive more people to electrics. At the same time, there's also the risk that renters wanting to take their Hertz-GM EV on a road trip into sparsely populated areas may return with charging and range-related horror stories. Hertz currently doesnÂ’t ask what youÂ’re planning to do with your rental, but it does offer a chat service for questions, and range information is presented clearly on each vehicle. Wed, 24 Jul 2013A Nice, New Buick Aims For Middle Of The Road
Any time someone describes some portion of a car or a driving experience as being "nice," I want to either A) throttle them or B) run as fast and as far as I can from that vehicle. "Nice" is among the most insidious words in the English language - at best it's vague, and at worst, it conveys the exact opposite of its literal meaning. Yet it seems to be used with damnable frequency when it comes to verbally illustrating vehicles. "It looks really nice," or "These seats feel nice," or, heaven forefend, "It's got a nice ride," are all windy signifiers of absolutely nothing resembling a concrete opinion. "Nice" is the adjectival equivalent of meekly smiling and nodding your head.
Of course, I'm as guilty as the next person of having thrown English's least powerful descriptor around. There's even a chance that, rant aside, you'll catch me making nice in reviews to come. That's fine, but you should know that when you stumble upon such usage, past or future, that you've found a sentence in which I'm simply applying a bare minimum of effort to the task.
2014 Buick Regal priced from $29,690*
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Buick has announced pricing for the refreshed 2014 Regal. The base model offers a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, 259-horsepower, four-cylinder engine for $30,615 (*after $925 delivery and destination fee). The standard turbo can be replaced by Buick's eAssist mild hybrid system for $32,485. The electrified powertrain delivers 36 miles per gallon, in place of the turbo's 30 mpg on the highway.
The big powertrain news for 2014 is the inclusion of an all-wheel-drive system for an extra $2,175. Marking one of the few uses of all-wheel drive on a Buick car, the new Regal AWD has an electronic, limited-slip differential and a HiPer Strut front suspension, which is the same front arrangement used on the hot, front-drive Regal GS.
Speaking of the Regal GS, it's not so hot for 2014. It sports the same 259-horsepower engine as the standard Regal, but offsets that with a wealth of standard, optional or flat-out exclusive equipment like active dampers, Brembo brakes and a Bose stereo. Prices (all including the $925 fee) start at $37,830. Like the standard car, the GS will be available with all-wheel drive for the first time, bringing it a bit more in line with its cousins across the pond - Opel Insignia OPC and Vauxhall Insignia VXR. Prices for the GS AWD start at $40,195.
