If you are in the market for one of the last of the best cars GM built, you have found a winner. This is Ms. Pearls beloved Buick Roadmaster she bought brand new from Gill Buick in Raleigh NC in 1996. She has been the only owner since then, and has babied this full size Buick like it was a member of the family. I purchased this Roadmaster directly from the 87 year old Pearl, and drove it 850 miles home. Every intention was to keep this wonderful ride, but a new house, and a wedding forces me to cut my time with this Buick short. This car was an absolute pleasure to drive, and got about 27.5 mpg all the way home! I would strongly say this Buick floated down the road nicer then my 1996 Fleetwood I previously owned. Finished in a beautiful Bright white over Adriatic Blue leather. Loaded with options including dual power seats, automatic climate control, keyless remote, wire wheel hubcaps, full sized spare, and being a 1996 the Collectors Edition! The body of the car is in fantastic condition with only a few flaws as listed- small ding on left of decklid, some small dings in left 1/4 panel and a scuff on the right front bumper chrome. The dings would be able to be removed with a paintless dent service. The interior is in great shape also, no abnormal wear or tear, and Ms Pearl was a non smoker. The only flaw on the interior is a few spots on the window switch that was touched up. NO RUST!! Early in her ownership she did have a minor fender bender, it was at low speed and someone just scraped the right front fender. The repair was performed at the Buick Dealer and the quality of the repair is fantastic!! The car has been in Ms Pearls garage since new, and has always been in Raleigh NC. Since Ms Pearl bought this sedan new, she has retained a great amount of service history slips, state inspections, and all the pamphlets and paraphernalia that went with this car. Included are 2 sets of keys, 1 remote, 4 original floor mats, 4 aftermarket floor mats that were over the originals, window sticker, wire wheel key, books and info cards, and all the service history I got. This is a get in and drive it anywhere car! Everything in this car works as it should, Radio, power antenna, power windows, A/C, locks, cruise control, ect... Any questions feel free to email me, or you can call me. Anthony, at 978-930-1004. Please keep in mind I am in the EASTERN time zone. If you want to fly in, and take another road trip in this car, I will pick you up at Boston Logan Int air port and get you on the road. Massachusetts does NOT issue temp plates, 20 day plates, or any other plate to put on the car to drive it home to wherever you may live. You must bring some sort of plate with you if you plan on driving home. The mileage may increase slightly as we welcome test drives. Make sure the wife will allow you to have this car, make sure the bank you keep your money in has the funds to pay for it too! The car is located in Billerica MA, and has only been here for a few weeks. 2018 Buick Regal GS : The 310-hp American hot hatch

Wed, Jul 19 2017

Buick has spent the last decade shredding its perception as the low-level luxury vehicle for geriatrics, but the brand hasn't always been associated with that crowd. In fact, ask some enthusiasts and you'll hear about the GM 3800 series engines, IndyCar racing, and the mythical GS and GNX. In that high-octane theme, GM pulled back the curtain on the all-new, all-wheel drive, 310-horsepower 2018 Buick Regal GS Wednesday morning in Milford, MI. The GS is basically a sport-tuned version of the all-new Buick Regal. We've seen the standard and high-riding wagon variants, but this is our first look at what's likely to be the enthusiast pick. The Regal GS uses the five-door sportback bodystyle from the standard car (though a GS version of the TourX would be awesome), swiped from GM's soon-to-be former German division, Opel. While a number of automakers are downsizing engines, Buick is soldiering on with its tried and true naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6, in this guise making 310 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic. The all-wheel drive system uses a twin-clutch setup and has been tuned specifically for the GS. The Regal GS makes more power than both the Acura TLX A-Spec (290 horsepower) and the Lexus IS350 F-Sport (306 horsepower). The V6 features both cylinder deactivation and auto stop/start for better fuel economy. The fully independent suspension uses the second-gen Continuous Damping Control (CDC), capable of 500 adjustments per second. Selectable modes allow the driver to tailor the car to fit the situation. Large Brembo front brakes are surrounded by standard 19-inch wheels and tires. The exterior gets a few styling changes like a sporty front and rear fascias, a small rear spoiler, and plenty of GS badges. Inside, the Regal GS gets unique sport seats with integrated headrests and adjustable lumbar and thigh bolsters. They even come standard with heating, ventilation, and massaging functions. The driver faces a GS badged flat-bottom steering wheel and GS-specific pedals. A full-color heads-up display is optional. Available safety features include front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warnings, forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The real key for the success of the Regal GS could be pricing.

2019 Buick Regal GS Review | Because Buicks are allowed to be cool, too

Mon, May 27 2019

Buick continues to try to convince everyone that its cars are cool, but we still haven't seen much evidence of this working. However, the 2019 Buick Regal GS is exactly the car that can help change people's minds about Buick in 2019. It has big red Brembos sitting inside superbly stylish wheels, bright red GS emblems everywhere, aggressive bodywork and some of the best sport seats in any car today. Buick truly made the GS look the part, and if you can get past the brand's Wal-Mart greeter personality, you're going to like the way it drives, too. The Regal GS is powered by GM's 3.6-liter V6 that makes a healthy 310 horsepower and 282 pound-feet of torque in this application. That gets mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which is the only option for the GS this time around. The previous generation Regal GS offered a six-speed manual, but we weren't missing it too badly here. With seemingly every car under the sun going the turbocharged route, it was refreshing to see GM use a big, naturally aspirated V6. Even stranger was that the Regal GS before this one was boosted, so you could say GM went the opposite direction of the industry trend. That previous GS made 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque from its turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder. So, while the V6 beats it by 40 horsepower, the old GS has it by 13 measly pound-feet of torque. Still, we dig the V6, because this car's power delivery is fantastic with a snarly but restrained exhaust note to go with. My largest quibble is taking off from a stop. The GS's throttle response is a little numb from the get-go, but put any revs to it and the car is ready to leap forward at any speed. This immediacy is increased when you put it into "GS" mode, which sharpens up the throttle, quickens shifts, stiffens the suspension, sends more power to the rear wheels and makes the steering heavier. The nine-speed is seamless and unobtrusive in traffic, but offers up surprisingly quick shifts when you're flat-out. Most of the time I end up ignoring the paddle shifters on cars with torque converter automatics, so I wasn't exactly missing them here. You can select the gears via the gear lever's slapstick function if you really want to, but it's hardly more engaging than just letting the car go at it. In GS mode it holds gears long enough and resists shifting out of the power band. During fall-attack on a backroad, it works smart and is on-par with the eight-speed in our Stinger GT long-termer.

2013 Buick Verano Turbo

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

Not Luxury. Not Sport. Not Buick. Not Bad.
Those of you who still think of the Buick Verano as some sort of callously badge-engineered, gussied up version of the Chevrolet Cruze ("Why would anyone spend that much money on Buick's Cruze?" you may have been heard to mutter) have got the wrong idea. Entirely. Even in its most modest form, the Verano turns out to be a sedan that is feature-rich, insulated from wind and road noise in proper luxury car fashion, pretty good to drive and not bad to look at in the new school of high-nosed pedestrian-impact-regulated fashion. In a less modest form then, one that attaches the word "Turbo" to the moniker and plops a force-fed 2.0-liter four-cylinder under the hood, the Verano is downright interesting.
Of course, "interesting" is rarely a descriptor that fills one with lust - and so it goes with this example. There are two competing forces within this near-premium subcompact sedan, and the balance struck between them must resonate with any potential customer before the Verano Turbo can become a serious purchase consideration.
