1966 Buick Riviera 2-Door Hardtop (465 Wild Cat) 425 cubic inch Nail Head 4 barrel. California Car. Motor will start up and run and go into gear, but it will need a complete tune up from sitting in storage. Has Automatic tranny, power steering, power brakes, Factory AC.
The factory color of the car is Shell Biege and to the best of my knowledge it looks like original paint. The body looks to be pretty straight. There is a dent in the drivers side front fender near the front nose of the fender, it's a easy fix to make it right. The rear passanger quarter down low behined the rear tire has some rust holes, it just needs a patch panel. The drivers side floor where your feet rest has a couple rust holes, the trunk tub where the spare tire sets is a little scally, the rest of the trunk looks good, also has the original jack and spare tire. The rest of the floors look to be pretty good. Over all the body looks to be pretty sound for it's age. You can see all the body, floors and trunk in the posted pictures. The original Black interior is in fair shape for it's age, has some rips and ware and needs a headliner. The interior options are, power windows, power seat, tilt, full gauges, has the odometer the rolls, remote driver side mirror, split bench seat with armrest, original radio. All the glass looks to be good, the passanger door glass and rear wing window has some scratches in the glass. The motorize headlights still work and go up and down. Still has it's original fin knock off hubcaps. Over all the Riviera is all complete and runs and in fair shape. This would be a great car to fix up. This is a original California Car. I have some good old documentation that comes with the car, like the original window sticker, original Buick Accessories book, old registrations and receipts and the original receipt when they bought the car from the dealership in California, also the price they paid for it. You can see all the documentation in the posted pictures. I have a clean Arizona Title in Hand. Please email me anytime for any detailed questions about the car, please ask as many questions as you like. I will get right back with you. Please don't ask my reserve, bid to what you feel comfortable with and what you can afford. If serious, you can always make me a offer and we can deal from there. I can get you a great wholesale price on shipping. You can come view the car at my house anytime with a appointment. Good luck bidding, thank you. |

2019 Buick Regal to get Avenir luxury treatment
Wed, Aug 1 2018Buick will make the 2019 Regal sedan available in its top-tier Avenir trim, the fourth Buick model to carry the sub-brand name after the Enclave, LaCrosse and the GL8 in China. Buick says the Avenir line is selling faster than other trim levels on both the Enclave and the LaCrosse, and that half of all Regal Sportback buyers are opting for the top trim level, reflecting buyers' demand for more premium midsize cars. "Avenir sales have exceeded our expectations," Phil Brook, vice president of Buick and GMC Marketing, said in a statement. "Buick customers value the exclusive styling, premium features and convenient experience Avenir provides, and we are excited to extend that successful formula to Regal." So what's the Regal Avenir all about? Well, Buick will debut its first cloud-connected infotainment system, bringing embedded apps and enabling owners to set up their own profiles and user preferences for use in things like available navigation and voice-recognition, and carry over that profile to other compatible vehicles. The Avenir will come standard with safety and driver-assist technologies such as rear park assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane-change alert with side blind zone alert, LED headlights with auto leveling, cornering lamps and driver-side auto-dimming mirrors. Advanced adaptive cruise control and other active safety technologies are also available. Inside, there's a "Whisper Beige" theme with ebony accents, diamond quilt-stitched front seats, embroidered first-row headrests and sill plates carrying the Avenir script. An ebony theme is also available. The exterior gets a more dramatic look, with the Avenir 3-D mesh upper grille, script badging on the front doors and 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels. Under the hood is the Regal's standard 250-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 260 pound-feet of torque and mated to a nine-speed automatic. Avenir was the name of a four-door concept Buick unveiled as a surprise in 2015 in Detroit. The next year the company announced it would use the name as a top-tier trim level starting with 2018 Buicks. Pricing for the 2019 Buick Regal Avenir will be announced when it arrives at dealers. Buick Envista Luggage Test: How much cargo space?
Mon, Oct 2 2023First, I am well aware that there is an inflatable hearse on my lawn, which is also haunted. Just go ahead and get used to that background for a few weeks. Second, the 2024 Buick Envista is a great car! Easily the most surprising thing I've driven this year, and although I'll go into everything else in a full review coming soon, the cargo area contributes to that general sense of pleasant surprise. The specs say it has 20.7 cubic-feet of space, which would be consistent with the subcompact SUV segment it competes with on price (even if it's more comparable to a compact in terms of length). Let's see how that amount translates into actual stuff. At first look, I was not expecting good things. Yes, its ample length is pretty indicative of a compact SUV, but the height is nowhere close. With the rigid cargo cover in place, it basically looks like a trunk -- but more on that cover in a moment. Unlike most subcompact and compact SUVs, the Envista does not offer a dual level cargo floor that adds extra cargo space while still making a fold-flat back seat possible. In other words, Buick is clearly leaving some cubic-feet on the table here. This cover would be of the gigantic, rigid, nowhere-to-keep-it-in-the-car, hatchback variety. I am not a fan, especially for the Envista. You're about to see why. Bring on the bags. As with every Luggage Test, I use two midsize roller suitcases that would need to be checked in at the airport (26 inches long, 16 wide, 11 deep), two roll-aboard suitcases that just barely fit in the overhead (24L x 15W x 10D), and one smaller roll-aboard that fits easily (23L x 15W x 10D). I also include my wife's fancy overnight bag just to spruce things up a bit (21L x 12W x 12D). That would be the three biggest bags, but that's all you're fitting. I tried to dislodge the cover and let it rest on top, but nope, liftgate wouldn't close. At least the middle bit of the cargo cover has that raised middle bit that perfectly wrapped around my big blue bag. Without that, this result would've been even worse. So, if you were picking up someone from the airport, they had more bags than this and you forgot to remove the cargo cover, you'd be in trouble. If, however, you remember to chuck the cargo cover ... Holy cow, all the bags fit! I was genuinely surprised by this result. The Tetris formation is a little weird, but it wasn't hard to fit everything in here.
