1990 Buick Reatta Convertible Very Clean 84k Miles & Over 6k In Maintenance!!! on 2040-cars
Dearborn Heights, Michigan, United States

This car has been well taken care of all of its life, no rust on the body and a very clean under body. This particular Reatta belonged to former speaker of the house John Sununu. I was given proof of this when I purchased the vehicle last year but at the moment I am unable to find the copy of the title and some of the maintenance receipts. Here is a list of some of the recent work done to the car: Within 24 Mo. 1. New Top 2. New Tires 3. New Cat-Back Exhaust 4. New Shocks/Struts 5. New Brakes 6. New Master Cylinder/ABS unit 7. New Water Pump 8. JVC Radio Pandora/Bluetooth Compatible 9. All New Speakers Within 12 Mo. 1. New Spark Plugs and Wires 2. New Fuel Filter 3. Valve cover gaskets 4. Oil Pan Gasket 5. Oil Pump Pick-up Tube Screen 6. New Battery If you are not familiar with the Reatta, it is a hand-built american car and the convertibles are rare. If you look them up there is some interesting info available online. The car runs and drives great and and it should and all power options work and A/C blows ice cold. the paint shines very nice and is original except for the right rear quarter panel. It was repainted due to a a parking lot incident where it was scratched and could not be buffed out. there are some imperfections in the painted on this panel and they are pictured. There is also some scuff marks on the front bumper molding from bumping into a fence pole while parking last week. There is some road rash on the front of the vehicle but not to bad, and both passenger wheels have some curb rash as well. The interior is clean and neat, original mats are still there and in good shape. There is a cup holder added over the ashtray and under the CD player a 3-plug power outlet as well. I have enjoyed this car very much and only put 1500 miles on it in the last 14 months. I have the original manual and signature log, however the ink of the signatures appears to have faded over time. I have had several Reattas over time and this one is one of the nicer ones I have seen, not in collectible condition, but not far away. The only thing I can think of that will require attention in the near future in the front right wheel bearing which is beginning to humm a bit, thats it. The only reason I have considered to sell this car is because I picked up another one of my favorite convertibles and I don't need two. Thank you for taking the time to check out my listing, if you have any questions regarding the vehicle feel free to contact me @ 313-445-7775, preferably in the evenings after 6PM. Good luck and happy bidding |

Nissan Sentra, Buick LaCrosse to headline LA Auto Show
Wed, Oct 21 2015We're less than a month away from the start of the Los Angeles Auto Show, and automakers have been lining up their debuts for the upcoming left-coast expo. The latest announcement comes from the show's organizers who are eager to tout the global debuts slated for next month. Chief among them will be new versions of the Buick LaCrosse and Nissan Sentra. So far all we've seen of the 2017 LaCrosse is a glimpse at the front grille, but it's already promising to bring elements of the Avenir concept to the street. The original LaCrosse was launched in 2004 and was replaced in 2010 with the current model. The Sentra nameplate has been around much longer, but the current model was launched more recently in 2013. The new version spied recently while undergoing testing is promised to be a substantial update on that model, not a complete replacement, bringing it up to speed with the latest equipment and revised styling. This represents the first official confirmation we've received of when Nissan will be unveiling the new Sentra. Mitsubishi will also be on hand with its new Outlander Sport, as well as the redesigned Mirage. They'll be joined as well by new versions of a couple of high-end models that promise to resonate with the local crowds in tinseltown. Land Rover has chosen the LA show as a suitable venue to unveil the production Range Rover Evoque Convertible that will drop the top on one of the most stylish luxury crossovers on the market. And Porsche, as we know, is gearing up to hit the track with the new Cayman GT4 Clubsport - a customer racing version of the company's little two-seat, mid-engined sports car that's been lightly modified for motorsport competition. Of course these won't be the only new metal on display at the Californian auto expo. They'll be joined as well by the likes of the new Infiniti QX30, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Sportage, and Jaguar F-Pace - many of which we've already seen. Meanwhile companies like Fiat, Ford, Mazda, Mercedes, Subaru, Volvo, Volkswagen, and Elio Motors are keeping their plans under wraps for the time being. But with mere weeks to go, it won't be long before we see what they've got in store as well.

The 2020 Buick LaCrosse we won't get looks exceptional
Thu, Mar 7 2019GM is killing off the Buick LaCrosse in the United States after the 2019 model year, but elsewhere it lives on. Buried by all the Geneva news this week, GM quietly took the wraps off a 2020 Buick LaCrosse facelift for China. It only makes sense to keep selling the big Buick in the popular Chinese market (now Buick's largest), but we're a tad jealous of what we can't have stateside. The changes Buick has implemented make the LaCrosse into a far more handsome option. Both the front and rear get massaged here. A new horizontal patterned grille, slimmer headlights with a neat LED design, plus new lower bumper surround all work together to provide a more upscale look. The view out back is an even larger departure from the old and somewhat awkward rear end on the 2019 LaCrosse. Smaller, flowing taillights mesh well with the chrome strip on the trunk lid, then dual exhaust outlets offer a sporty flair to the squat rear end. The Buick badge looks cohesive with the look as a whole now, instead of just chilling out alone on the expansive trunk lid. An updated powertrain package goes along with the new looks, too. GM is snagging its new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder LSY engine it uses in the Cadillac XT4 for duty here. It makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to GM's nine-speed automatic transmission. China will be the only market to see this generation of LaCrosse as GM plans to exclusively produce it in its Shanghai facility. The Detroit-Hamtramck plant that previously made it for all North American markets was among those facilities GM announced would close, bringing with it the LaCrosse and other vehicles.
