Selling my 2001 BMW e46 M3 Coupe in Laguna Seca Blue equipped with Cold Weather, Luxury package, Lumbar support,

Xenon Headlights, Harman/Kardon Sound system, and more options.

I've had this car since 2010 and it's been a garage Queen.  The car is all stock with no performance modification ever added and adult/babied driven.

To my knowledge this car has not been tracked.

I own many BMWs and this is not the last that I'll own.  This is mainly the reason I'm selling, I've recently purchased my dream car and I don't need two Garage Queens.

I've maintain all my BMWs according to BMW specs and OEM products.  All oil changes were Castrol TWS / Filter all bought from the dealership.

All services/records from previous owners are provided/shown below.

Car runs great and strong, I would have no problem driving from the East to West coast.  Brand new tires was added at the 37.7k mileage marker of the car.

This car is hassle free, if you're coming out of state or in state, car is ready to be driven off.

Being that the Car is a 2001, the car was fixed under warranty for the Rod Bearings from the previous Ownership

by a BMW Dealership as part of the recall (I've provided a picture of the invoice order).

The car does have minor curb rash due to previous owner living in the DC area (I've taken photos in the "Detail Pictures" link)

Car comes with 2 Keys and a valet key as pictured, I also have the Leather pouch/manual/radio code that comes with the car which is usually kept in the glovebox

**I'm also selling this locally and on other sources, so listing may be cancel upon anytime**

In terms of payment, winner pays $2,000 deposit and the rest either by Cash or Cashier's Check.  The transfer of funds will happen during regular banking hours.

BMW M4 Concept leaked ahead of Monterey debut

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

Last month, we heard that BMW might be bringing a concept previewing its next M4 sports coupe to this year's Monterey festivities. Well, thanks to the folks at USA Today, we have absolute confirmation of this by way of some leaked images. And goodness, she's certainly a looker.
While a few of us still find some of the 4 Series' design to be a bit awkward, it's hard to not immediately warm up to the aggressive bits of this hotter M4 concept. It certainly looks the business of a proper sports car, and a worthy successor to the M3 coupe. Of course, a lot of this will likely be toned down for the production version, which we'll likely be seeing at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, along with its four-door M3 kin.
The official M4 Concept details will be revealed later tonight, but for now, have a look at a few shots of the golden show car in our gallery of leaked shots, above.

2016 BMW M4 GTS: More power, less weight, ready for the track

Wed, Oct 7 2015

BMW calls its new M4 GTS the "most agile, radical, and powerful M4 ever." It's got 493 horsepower, a slick new water injection system, a three-way adjustable coilover suspension, and a weight reduction of roughly 200 pounds compared to a stock M4. Only 700 will be built, with 300 allocated for the United States. And did we mention it looks absolutely killer? Let's talk about that water injection system for a moment, because it's the first time this technology is being used on [an intercooled - Ed.] production road car. Basically, water absorbs heat from surrounding air, so a fine mist is sprayed into the intake manifold where it evaporates, lowering the temperature of the intake air. BMW says this reduces final compression temperature, allowing the turbochargers to operate with increased boost pressure and better spark timing. The end result is increased output – 493 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque from the same twin-turbo, 3.0-liter straight-six as the standard M4. That's an increase of 68 hp and 36 lb-ft. But the GTS isn't just about increased power. In fact, the bigger story is its weight reduction. BMW incorporated the use of aluminum and carbon fiber throughout the M4's construction, and DIN curb weight is listed as 3,329 pounds. It's unclear if that's the exact US measurement, and BMW couldn't comment on that as of this writing, but compared to our 3,530-pound stock M4, that represents some 200 fewer pounds of heft. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) is used in the hood, making that part some 25 percent lighter than the stock piece. CFRP is also used for the driveshaft, making it 40-percent lighter than the standard setup. Even inside the car, the new center console is 30-percent lighter than what you'd find in a normal M4. The rear seats are gone, and we're sorry to say that the cool racing buckets pictured here won't be available in the US. Making this thing super capable at the track is a three-way M coilover suspension, combined with upgraded carbon ceramic brakes, set behind staggered wheels and tires. Up front, the GTS rides on 19-inch rollers wrapped in 265/35-series Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and out back, 20-inch wheels are fitted inside 285/30-series rubber. The only transmission available is the seven-speed, M DCT dual-clutch unit, and when all is said in done, BMW says the M4 GTS will run the infamous Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 28 seconds. Another cool feature: organic LED technology.

BMW, Mercedes ponder challengers to Uber

Fri, Sep 18 2015

With autonomous vehicles seemingly just on the horizon of actually arriving to consumers, companies in the auto industry are already thinking about how the innovations could radically change how they do business. For example, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are considering a time where they might transform into ridesharing companies, according to Reuters. It almost sounds like the sci-fi motoring world Bob Lutz is predicting. The German brands foresee a future where some people hail their driverless cars like taxis and use them for short trips. The automakers could run those fleets, essentially making them Uber competitors. In fact, Tesla is reportedly mulling the idea, and Google might be, too. Alternatively, ridesharing services could buy the companies' models directly. "New mobility concepts will emerge with autonomous vehicles, which are robot cars. Fleet management will become a much more significant business," Peter Schwarzenbauer, BMW board of management member in charge of Mini, said to Reuters. With BMW's DriveNow and Daimler's Car2Go car-sharing services, both automakers are already experimenting with alternative ways to get their vehicles on the road. It's not too hard to imagine one of the brand's peppering a few autonomous cars into those fleets someday to test these new theories in the real world. "The ability to use a car, and then walk away is a serious business," Ian Robertson, BMW's head of sales and marketing, said about the future of driverless tech to Reuters. Related Video:
