1997 Bmw M3 M3 Sedan on 2040-cars
Lady Lake, Florida, United States
Up for sale - my 1997 E36 Hellrot red M3 sedan. Bone stock except for the Koni suspension. Beautiful car in excellent condition - look at he pics - this car was owned by one family in Naples Florida since new, until last year when I purchased it. The car was traded in at a Ferrari/Lambo private dealership for a Porsche in Naples FL. No stories - car is as near mint as you will find in the country. Look at some of the E36 series Ms on ebay, same condition and similiar miles for thousands more. This car will continue to go up in price. I recently purchased a BMW 1M (my dream car) and I need to move some of my toys. I am not a dealer, I am a M aficionado and I currently own an E36, E46 and 1M. I sold my E90 M3 fall 2016. Love the cars, love the history. This car is everything it looks to be in the photos. I do my best to give honest and clear descriptions of my Ms. Condition: Car needs nothing and is near mint. paint and interior would be 8.5/10. No curb rash on the rims, near perfect. Front valance has zero breaks or cracks. Alcantara headliner is mint. Zero cracks in dash, it is mint - this car gets compliments everywhere I go. BONE STOCK (except for Koni setup) - All original. Enhancements:Koni Sport suspension - lowers car 1 and looks stunning Recent maintenance:Fan resistor Hood Shocks Oil lube & filter Steering tie rod New batteryAll fluids flushed from brakes, trans and rear endNew Yoko S Drive performance tires (hook amazingly) installed summer 2016

BMW 4 Series configurator comes online
Mon, 08 Jul 2013The best money in the world might be configurator money - you never run out of it and you can never spend it the wrong way. We hope you're ready to dip into your configurator savings account, because it's time to start speccing out the 2014 BMW 4 Series, the coupe having just arrived in the virtual world.
There are four possible opening gambits: the 428i for $40,500, the 428i xDrive for $42,500, the 435i for $46,000 or the 435i xDrive for $48,000. After you've chosen your first move, there are three trim options: the $1,400 Luxury Line that features lots of chrome and wood (shown), the $1,700 Sport Line that adds lots of gloss black and contrasting trim color and stitching, or the $3,100 M Sport that offers the M Estoril Blue hue and lots of M-division specific accessories.
Starting with the 435i xDrive and M Sport, we then added items like the 19-inch wheels ($900), the Dynamic Handling Package ($1,000), Cold Weather Package ($700), Premium Package ($2,200), Tech Package ($3,150) and the Lighting Package ($1,900) on top of any other box we could check. The total, after the $925 destination and handling charge: $66,749.
2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is ready for your favorite roads
Mon, 14 Jan 2013We've known about the ins and outs of the lovely BMW M6 Gran Coupe for a while now, but that doesn't mean we weren't happy to see the thing in the metal for the first time, here in Detroit.
The M-tuned Gran Coupe utilizes the same 4.4-liter forced-induction V8 that powers both the BMW M6 and the M5, with an output of 560 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The fast four-door brings up 60 miles per hour in just 4.1-seconds - the same sprint time as the M6 coupe and a few tenths quicker than the M5 - and up to a limited top speed of 155 mph.
We love those performance figures - this is one new Bimmer that we're amped to get some seat time in - though we're not super crazy about the selection of chrome wheels on this particular show car. Tells us what you think about the hotted up Gran Coupe in comments, below.
On Location in California with BMW and Mini
Thu, Feb 25 2016A mid-winter escape from frigid Michigan to drive a trio of new BMW and Mini products? It'd be a busy couple of days, but you can't argue with Southern California in February. The temperatures in LA, where we drove the Mini Cooper S Convertible, hovered in the mid-80s, and it was solidly in the 70s further north, at Monterey, where we drove the M2 and X4 M40i. The highlight of the trip was Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, which is a rewarding track to drive in a street car. The M2 was a blast there. The canyon roads above Malibu in the Mini were a close second, but even the lazy drive down the PCH to Big Sur was a blast. More important is the California state of mind we were in when driving all three of these cars. I've spent a lot of time in this state, and it has a complicated relationship with the car – and there's also a huge difference in attitude between the greater Bay Area and Southern California. Ample sun and twisty roads clash with image-consciousness, eco-consciousness, and brutal urban gridlock, and each BMW dealt with that paradox admirably, in its own way. Take a quick jaunt to California with me and check out the locations and experiences that helped form our impressions of these vehicles: the 2016 BMW M2 First Drive, the 2016 Mini Cooper S Convertible First Drive, and the 2016 BMW X4 M40i Quick Spin.
