Original BMW Keyless Entry w/ Alarm.
This is a turn key E36 M3. I have been collecting cars for years and it is tough to find another one as clean and
perfect as this one. My process is involved and detailed, once a car comes into my collection I go over the entire
car addressing everything necessary, prior to being offered for sale. Please understand what I have here is
special. I have records, books, brochures, and keys w/ remotes. I would rate the Interior a 9.5/10 the seats are in
excellent condition, the front seat bolsters are excellent with minimal wear. All functions work and operate on the
power seats as they should. The carpet is extremely clean covered with OEM Floor mats. The Front dash is very clean
no cracks, the Rear seats are excellent, and Rear parcel shelf has no sun damage. The Exterior of the car is a
solid 8.5/10. Front bumper has not been drilled for license plate, the car was ordered as spoiler delete from
factory. The front bumper has minor chips. Tires are like new and have only have 1000 miles on them.
No expense has been spared to properly store, maintain and address all preventative maintenance on this M3. Several
performance updates were made to the car; however the car has never been on a track, drag strip or street raced.
All oil changes were made with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and the rest of the vehicle received Red Line Fluids.
This car is an absolute blast to drive, sounds great and runs very strong. It will make a fun daily driver, or a
great track car. The title is clear and in hand. I have all keys, valet key and 2 alarm/keyless fobs.
Whether you are buying this for yourself or your son/daughter, this M3 is a true gem. Mechanically this car is
excellent and has always been serviced. The prior owner who had the car for 13+ years is a manufacturing engineer
working for ZF Friedrichshafen. The company that manufactures the transmission for BMW E36 M3's.

2015 BMW 228i Convertible
Thu, Feb 5 2015BMW history is littered with small, four-seater convertibles that offer style, spirited performance and driving flexibility. These days it's the 2 Series range, not the 1 or the 3, that carries on the droptop-driver's-car tradition, and the 2015 228i Convertible will the first flavor of it to hit US shores. With prices starting in the upper $30k range, conservative but attractive exterior styling and just enough interior comforts and amenities to feel like a true-luxury player, the 228i makes a strong initial case for itself as either a first or second vehicle. Concurrent with my First Drive of the 2015 BMW X6 M, the Germans brought along their new 2 for testing along some pretty mellow Texas driving routes outside of Austin. With roads that ranged from sweeping country lanes to small town streets, and weather changing handily from cold and misty to bright and warm, I got a good sample of what the new open-top 2 can do. Drive Notes I'll admit to getting behind the wheel of the 228i convertible with a bit of a bias: the old 1 Series line, including the droptop, was amongst my favorite BMW models in years. In terms of overall character, this 2 Series has mellowed a lot versus the chuckable, cheerful 1er. The steering response isn't quite so whip-fast, and the longer wheelbase means it's less willing to rotate overall. Of course, the 2, especially in convertible form, does feel better suited for the stereotypical small, premium convertible driver, too. Ride quality over our mostly smooth-road drive route was placid and controlled, and steering still felt steady and weighty on center and with lock added in. The car also offers really well-sorted protection from wind buffeting and noise, both with the top raised and lowered. I drove topless on the highway and on surface streets, and was impressed at how cozy I felt with the wind deflector erected and the windows up. Cold-weather convertiblers should do well with this BMW (especially when the xDrive AWD car launches, later in the year). Erect the folding soft top – a feature that's available at speeds up to 30 miles per hour – and the NVH experience is transformed. BMW says that the top-up wind noise has been reduced "by half" versus the 1 Series – a fact that I had no trouble believing after the first few seconds. Wind rush is basically eliminated with the roof raised, and the car becomes a downright conversational space thusly set up.
BMW M4 spied in coupe and convertible form
Thu, 29 Aug 2013From the sound of it, we'll have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see the production version of the BMW M4, but spy shots show the new hi-po BMW testing recently in both coupe and convertible form. Showing a lot more skin than recent spy shots, these M4 prototypes look very similar to the M4 Concept we saw at Pebble Beach.
Carryovers from the concept car include the funky mirrors, bulging hood and the slotted front fascia vents, but the rear fascia seems to be missing the added flair of the concept and, as expected, the carbon fiber front splitter and exhaust tips are also missing from these M4s. Like the current M3 Convertible, the drop-top version of the M4 will utilize a retractable hard top.
BMW M2 claims 7:58 'Ring time in video
Thu, Oct 15 2015BMW really, really wants us to believe the new M2 is a return to form for the high-performance sub-brand. In its initial release on the car, it drew a strong, explicit link to not only the 1 Series M Coupe – easily its most direct ancestor – but also to the original E30 M3, which is basically the M2's granddaddy. Further underscoring this link, BMW has paired the M2 with the 1M Coupe and ur-M3 for a new video where it reveals that the newest M car will lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just 7:58. While that isn't as fast as the M4 – we're betting that vehicle's fan base just let out a huge sigh of relief – it's quicker than the E92 M3, which is certainly something worth boasting about. Check out the video up top to see the new M2 dice with its predecessors, and then head back and check out our original post on the newest M car.
