Selling my lovely 1973 BMW 2002 TII. The car is in great running condition. I have owned the car for about 7-8 years now. Odometer says 84,000 miles. I have no hard evidence that this means the car has 84,000 miles or 184,000. But the car's condition leans me to say it's 84,000. There are no major mechanical problems that I know of. The car is routinely tuned up and serviced at Boyd's Motor Werks in Portland Or. The car is in great condition, it's not 100% mint but it looks and drives wonderful. New 5 speed transmission put in about 8-9 years ago. The BMW 2002tii is the high-performance, fuel-injected, limited edition of BMW's 2002 automobile model line. Sun roof and fog lights. I've kept the car stock looking interior and out, it always turns heads and gets tons of compliments.

Like I said the car isn't mint but looks really great. The paint looks great, there are a few tiny, tiny nicks here and that and a small one inch slight bubble near the rear gas cap. I tried to shoot a photo of it but it barely reads on camera. The passenger seat currently does not fold down to let passengers in the back. Driver seat is fine. The AC unit is there but it's currently not working. The rear defogger doesn't work. Other than that, everything is pretty much fine. Oh and currently I just have one windshield wiper on the car. This car is ALWAYS garaged unless I'm taking for a spin in the sun. I don't ever drive it in the rain, but it's leak free and the wipers work fine.

BMW M3 and M4 leak ahead of Detroit debut

Images of the overhauled BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe have leaked ahead of a debut at next month's Detroit Auto Show, along with option sheets and some specs.
Both wear the standard hallmarks of BMW's M division. There's a subtle power dome in the hood, along with the requisite M3/4-branded strakes on the front fenders. The front and rear fascia are more aggressive than what we've seen in the 3/4 Series M Sport package, as well. Split-five-spoke wheels mean the neither car will stand out in the family portrait and those gold calipers, meanwhile, signify what has been rumored for some time - the M3 and M4 will be getting carbon-ceramic brakes.
The cabin is home to the standard suite of M accoutrements, including a new steering wheel and more heavily bolstered seats. Special trim, including carbon fiber, will be available to further set these cars apart from the standard models.

2014 BMW 4 Series convertible spotted

We've seen a few spy shot packages featuring the upcoming BMW 4 Series Convertible already, but never with the car quite so naked as in this latest batch. Nabbed just outside the BMW Nürburgring workshop in Germany, this Melbourne Red 4 Series also shows the M Sport package for the first time.
With all of the cladding removed, we can see that the convertible shares the 4 Series coupe's great-looking nose and front end, though the resolution of that folding hard top into the rear bodywork remains a bit harsh.
With the 4 Series coupe now completely official, we have a pretty good idea of what the powertrain lineup for the 'vert will be. We'll be pretty surprised if a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo aren't the go-to engines at launch. Production of the droptop is likely to begin at the end of the year, so start bugging your local BMW dealer.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class named 2015 World Car of the Year

It's been a good morning for Mercedes-Benz, with three of the company's wares taking home awards today at the New York Auto Show. The 2015 World Car of the Year awards have just been announced, and the charming new C-Class sedan has taken top honors, beating both the new Volkswagen Passat and Ford Mustang. But Car of the Year isn't the only award Mercedes received this morning. Here are the other World Car announcements, where M-B was honored two more times.
