This has been my personal car for over 2 years. It was daily driven until about 6 months ago when another vehicle was purchased. Since then it's sat in the garage being started and driven every few weeks. Overall the car is a good driver that needs nothing beyond a fresh set of tires to be driven daily again. It's been fairly extensively modified and is very quick in it's current configuration. However, it could use further work and a better tune to bring out it's full potential. There is a Vast Performance methanol injection kit wired up but not fully installed. It was pulling from the washer tank but it started leaking so I pulled it with plans to relocate it to the trunk. Work never let up so it's still in a box in the garage. There is a custom tune for the meth kit I received when I purchased the car. It's currently running an AWE stage 3 tune. I ran the car on the tune with the meth and it was very fast... The A/C and heat work perfectly as do the power heated seats. I'm also including a bunch of extras with the car (see below). Mods Installed: - F21 Hybrid Frankenturbos (approx. 25k miles) - AWE MAF kit - AWE stage 3 tune - DeatschWerks 300LPH Fuel Pump - 630cc Seimen Deka Injectors - Black Bipipe Set (034 Motorsport) Stainless Steel with meth bungs - Silicone eBay boost hose kit - AWE Driveline stabilizer - RS4 clutch (approx. 25k miles) - Cross drilled rotors up front - B6 S4 wheels (tires need replacing) - ECS wheel spacers (Installed by previous owner...but I think they're 7mm) - New South boost gauge - Twin one stainless cat back exhaust. Very loud. - Relocated auxiliary coolant pump Recent maintenance: - Brand new N75 valve and EGT sensors - Timing belt, cam seals, valve cover gaskets replaced approx. 25K miles ago - Rear rotors and pads replaced 10K miles ago - Thermostat replacement and coolant flush and refill with correct fluid. - Rear differential flush and refill - 6 brand new Beru coil packs (5k miles) - 6 Bosch Platinum Sidefire plugs - New battery a year ago Extras Included (not installed): - VAST Performance methanol injection kit (partially installed) - Stern Rear Diff Carrier Mount Bushings, Poly - Stern Solid Rear Diff Mount (Power Ring) - New coolant reservoir - New Bosch fuel filter - ECU - M box with custom meth tune - Extra front axle (used) - 6 extra coil packs (used) The Bad: - The car has developed a small coolant leak since the flush. It seems to be coming from the flange below the passenger side cylinder head. - It also has a small oil leak (2-3 drops over night). It looks like it's coming from the oil pan. - Paint looks great from a few feet away but isn't perfect and the roof is painted matte black (I like it but not for everyone) - Joey modded headlights could stand to be replaced. They work fine but show their age and one has a broken housing that exposes some wiring. - Driver seat shows some wear and has a small hole in it (see picture). - Exhaust is very loud and drones on the highway (again I think it's awesome but realize it's not for everyone). - Headliner has started sagging in the rear (see picture). - Driver side front wheel has a little curb rash (see picture). - Missing the plastic inner wheel well covers and belly tray (like that when I bought it). All in all it's a solid car that could be driven daily with some tires and an alignment. If you have any questions send me a message. Buyer is responsible for shipping/transportation of the vehicle. A deposit of $250 is required immediately. |

The Acura NSX leads this month's list of discounts
Thu, Feb 4 2021For the second time in the last three months, the Acura NSX has a larger monetary discount than any other vehicle in America. Acura's hybrid super coupe packs 573 horsepower under its sleek bodywork, sufficient to send it sailing off to 60 miles per hour in a scant 2.9 seconds. But it doesn't exactly fly off the showroom floor with the same level of urgency. Buyers of the NSX are paying an average of $138,078 right now, which is a savings of $22,823 off its window sticker. That represents a 14.2% discount, which is also the largest percentage savings in February. And if the NSX doesn't quite fit into your future plans, Acura is also heavily discounting the ILX, TLX, RLX and MDX, so much so that those five models from the premium Japanese brand all appear in the top 10 biggest discounts this month. 2020 Acura NSX View 11 Photos The sleek 2020 Aston Martin Vantage slides into second place on the biggest discounts list, with an average of $18,763 lopped off its sticker price resulting in an average transaction price of $137,298. That's awfully close to the out-the-door price of the leading Acura NSX, which is a quicker and more technologically advanced machine, though arguably less traditionally beautiful. Rounding out this month's top three discounts is the 2020 Audi R8, buyers of which are averaging $17,888 off the sticker price for an average transaction of $179,238. Note that the Audi R8 is available as both a coupe and a convertible, with two power levels offered from its standard V10 engine. That means some R8s are certainly going to be much pricier than others. Crash sends race car driver sliding into first place
Mon, Nov 21 2016A Belgian race car driver won an unexpected victory at the 2016 FIA GT World Cup race last weekend when he slid to victory on the roof of his car. According to Motorsport.com, this year's FIA GT World Cup race at the Macau Guia race track in Macau was more accident prone than usual. The race had already been delayed by one crash earlier in the day when Belgian driver Laurens Vanthoor went into Mandarin Bend too hot chasing Porsche driver Earl Bamber, to whom Vanthoor had just lost his lead. Vanthoor's Audi clipped a wall at about 155 miles per hour causing his car to flipped on to its roof and continued down the straightaway at speed. Thankfully, despite the speed and violence of the crash, Vanthoor escaped mostly unscathed. Officials immediately red-flagged the race and, because of delays caused by the earlier crash, the race was called. Since the race was canceled, officials performed a countback on the previous lap's results and declared Vanthoor the winner despite the fact that he finished upside down. In the aftermath, a shaken Vanthoor questioned whether or not he deserved to win. "I don't really know if I deserved it in a way, as I crashed and made a mistake and I am still a winner – which is very awkward," Vanthoor told Motorsport. "But I don't really know what to say. It would have been a better show for everybody without the crash and a better victory, but I don't know what to think about it." 2015 Audi S3 Sedan
Tue, 12 Nov 2013For the last few years, Audi has been publicly toying with building a successor to its Ur-Quattro, a model still glowing in a gritty patina of motorsports glory decades after it left the scene. If anything, the rally car's halo has burned brighter as Audi has matured into a world luxury superpower. Since 2010, the German automaker has shown two different concept cars that attempted to re-bottle the legend's lightning, and it's still trying to figure out whether to market a production model. Despite that conundrum (and not to take anything away from the seminal Ur-Quattro), it's easy to argue that there are two other cars much more important to Audi's rise from its '80s ashes: the original TT and the B5-generation A4 and its high-performance variants.
The TT thrust Audi into the vanguard of automotive styling while firmly establishing the Volkswagen Group as masters of platform development (the same basic architecture and powertrain guts were employed in a dizzying array of models, from the Golf, Jetta and New Beetle to a number of Škoda products). This unprecedented, flexible building-block approach to new model development has since become the standard of the industry.
In the case of its B5 cars, the A4, S4 and RS4 put Audi back on the radar of rival German automakers, and more importantly, they grew the Four Rings' sales by leaps and bounds while reminding the world that all-wheel drive needn't only benefit hardcore performance cars and utility vehicles. Fast-forward to today, and the A4 has established itself as the bedrock of Audi's lineup, but it's also grown over its four generations to become substantially larger, heavier and costlier than the model that debuted back in 1996 America. That's created a vacuum at the bottom of the range that the company has inadequately addressed - until now.
