2007 Audi A4 Quattro Sedan 3.2l V6 on 2040-cars

For sale I have a 2007 Audi A4 3.2 with Quattro AWD and a 6-speed manual transmission.
engine: V6 FSI direct injected (255hp / 245torque) color: Phantom Black Pearl exterior / Black Leather interior price: $13,000 (or best offer) I am the second owner and purchased it as a CPO vehicle in 2010. Brand new, the car was ordered with a premium plus package (which is why it includes the load of tech and convenience options) and the original owner also opted for a factory sport suspension. It has been meticulously maintained and is in an over-all excellent condition. The car has never missed an oil change (always with the Audi recommended synthetic grade oil) and I've been loyal to Shell 91/93 octane fuel. It came equipped with many options straight from the factory and I have added several tasteful pieces along the way (see below). Stock options: - Quattro AWD - Phantom Black Pearl Effect exterior paint - Full Leather Interior w/ wood trim - 17 inch 5-spoke OEM Audi sport wheels (w/ new Continental DWS tires on all 4) - stock S-line sport suspension - 3-spoke adjustable leather sport steering wheel w/ voice and radio controls - Cruise control - Memory Driver Seat (front seats are electronically adjustable with bolstered support) - Heated Front Seats - Duel Zone Climate Control - Bluetooth / Homelink (for garage doors) - Sunroof (full open and tilt) - Auto electric windows - Auto dimming rear view mirror w. compass - Electronically foldable side mirrors w/ reverse gear parking angle assist - BOSE premium sound system - 6 disc CD changer, AM/FM, & SAT radio - 60/40 split folding rear seats - Auto-On Xenon headlights (w/ auto leveling and turn assist) - Front and Rear Fog Lights - Duel Exhaust Aftermarket Options - OEM RS4 rear sway bar (will also provide stock sway bar) - OEM Cupra R front lip - OEM Plateless grill - OEM Audi Sport all-weather mats - OEM chrome tipped front signal bulbs - HOEN H11 yellow fog light bulbs - debadged trunk (will also provide A4 and 3.2L quattro emblems) - 20% window tint Safety - ABS brakes - Stability Control - Front and Side Airbags - Seatbelt Pretensioners - Security System Recent Maintenance: - Filters (air, cabin, fuel) - all 6 spark plugs (OEM) - all 4 brakes and rotors (OEM) - all 4 tires (Continental DWS - Ultra High Performance All Season Tires) The price has been lowered from $15,000 to $13,000 as it is nearing it's 100k mile mark and will be in need of a new serpentine belt and front control arms. The total cost of this work would be $1,200-$1,300 at the dealership but I am looking to sell it ASAP and have no time to schedule the work; therefore, the price has been lowered even further than the necessary cost for convenience sake. I would prefer local pick-up (deliveries will have to be discussed and will be a buyer cost). Please message me to for more information and to discuss payment options. |

Audi CEO announces new electrified car each year starting in 2018
Thu, May 12 2016Audi is preparing an aggressive (and possibly desperate) plan to electrify its lineup following the disastrous diesel emissions scandal. CEO Rupert Stadler announced the plan during the company's Annual General Meeting in Ingolstadt. "Starting in 2018, we will launch another electrified car each year," Stadler said. This is easily the most dramatic statement we've heard about electrification since Audi of America President Scott Keogh told Autoblog that one out of every four Audi models will have some kind of plug-in capacity by 2025. This new push for electrics will kick off with Audi's long-awaited all-electric CUV. We've already known about this guy for a while – according to our conversation with Keogh, it will be based on the E-Tron Quattro Concept first shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. And earlier this year, Audi even went as far as confirming its Brussels, Belgium factory will screw together the new EV. Speaking of those batteries, Audi expects them to match the 310-mile range promised by the E-Tron Quattro. What we're really eager to see, of course, is what Audi has planned after 2018. Will we get an all-electric A4 to battle the Tesla Model 3? An A7 E-Tron to challenge the Model S? Or will Audi go with a segment Tesla hasn't exploited yet? Expect a few years before we get answers to those questions. Beyond the EV announcement, Stadler also confirmed the next-generation Audi A8 will debut in 2017. The new luxury sedan will be capable of driving itself at speeds up to 37 miles per hour, fitting with previous reports. From there, Stadler expects to "see fully automated driving" by 2025. Audi supercar not yet approved, R4 not quite dead, still room for an MPV
Wed, 24 Apr 2013According to a report by Autocar, all we thought we knew of the in-development Audi supercar we might not actually know. A piece in Car and Driver, not even a month old, said the diesel-hybrid halo car was in the design stages, would get the engine from the R18 E-Tron Quattro and its carbon fiber tub. Now we get word that that while the coupe is indeed being designed, it hasn't yet been signed off and there's no business case for it yet. Said business case, whenever it is built, is also dubious of the diesel aspect of the car at the moment - diesels aren't known for creating Pavlovian purchase responses in buyers in the two key markets of the US and China.
The report suggests that instead of a diesel, the 2014 Le Mans regulations changes "could swing the favour back towards petrol models," which would give the so-called Scorpion a better tie to racing technology. Of course, that also assumes that Audi would contest next year's Le Mans with a gas-powered car. If so, that would be an about-face on the original reasons for the halo sportscar in the first place.
In other news, seems Audi also believes it can slot another sportscar below the R8, it just needs to get the financials sorted. The R4 - a Porsche Boxster-sized roadster - that has been chattered about for years is still in on the table but appears a long way off. Company R&D chief Wolfgang Durheimer said it would need to be mid-engined and bring plenty of tech to separate itself from the TT, but mass-market price point is the catch as is the focus on other segments in the portfolio.
Audi A3 E-Tron is a look at battery-operated things to come
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Audi officially unveiled the A3 Sportback E-Tron at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. While not a production model, the plug-in hybrid gives us a good glimpse at what the German automaker has in store for future products. The five-door gets around thanks to parallel hybrid drivetrain comprised of a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a small electric motor integrated into the vehicle's six-speed dual-clutch transmission. While the four-cylinder churns up 150 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, the motor contributes 100 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of twist. All told, the design allows the E-Tron to serve up its full power from just 1,750 rpm.
An 8.8-kWh lithium-ion battery sits under the floor beneath the rear seat, complete with a liquid cooling system designed to keep the pack in its optimum temperature range. The A3 Sportback E-Tron can be charged in as little as 2.5 hours with a 3.6-kW charger, yielding an EV range of up to 31 miles. The machine can also travel using the electric motor, ICE or a combination of the two for a total range of 584 miles. Check out the full press release below.
