Custom 1968 Karmann Ghia, needs to be finished all the hard work has been done. This car is now set-up for mid engine, making this now a two seater. It now has two trunk areas. This was all done professionally I have more then I am asking into the car. I know I would never get what I have invested in the car so far so I am asking a very fair price but I am pretty firm at that price. It also features taillights set-up for 59 Cadillac taillights. It also now has side scoops that work to allow whatever engine you decide to put into the car. It now has all Porsche 914 rear suspension and engine cradle in the rear. The front air vents have been filled in and it has older style VW bus headlights. The paint on the car was just sprayed on to protect the car. I bought this car out west and was a rust free car so this is a solid car and will make a great car once it is finished.

VW teases GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo concept

Volkswagen was among the first to demonstrate its Vision for Gran Turismo with the GTI Roadster concept, last year. And now it's gearing up to release another one. Previewed in the video clip above and the images in the gallery below, the new GTI Supersport is once again conceptually based on the German automaker's iconic hot hatch. But instead of a roofless design rendered in red, this one has a fixed roof with pseudo NACA ducts and white bodywork, along with twin nostril air extractors in the hood, a giant carbon-fiber rear wing and diffuser, and large side vents. In short, it looks like it'll be awesome, and we'll likely see the full thing before too long – so watch this space.

Top Gear drag races VW Golf R against McLaren 675LT and Porsche 911

Top Gear's latest quarter-mile drag race in the collects three very different performance vehicles: the 296-horsepower Volkswagen Golf R, 424-hp Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, and 666-hp McLaren 675LT. While each of these cars sit near the top of their segment, they each come from totally different rungs of the sports car price ladder. Spoiler alert, the Golf R doesn't win. But the final results illustrate the diminishing returns of price and performance. For example, the McLaren is only about a second quicker than the Porsche to 60 miles per hour, but the 675LT costs over 2.5 times more that the GTS. Related Video:
