Miami Beach, Florida, United States

This 2009 Jetta Tdi  sedan has approximately 58,748 miles on it.   2.0L engine with 6-spd DSG transmission.  Regularly serviced at Esserman International VW at the recommended intervals.  This car has lived in Florida its entire life and is still in really great condition aside from a few dings and scrapes.  A bulk of the miles are highway miles. It pains me to sell it because I love the speed and quality of the drive but we have to get rid of it because of a changing life situation.
The title is in hand and ready to be transferred.

The car is Red with black leather and grey interior.  All leatherette and carpeting is in great condition.  All windows are tinted.
Automatic sunroof
MFD with steering wheel controls for stereo and convenience controls
6-CD MP3 changer radio unit with iPod dock in center armrest and SIRIUS satellite radio receiver
Heated front seats
AC power outlet in back seat
Power adjusting drivers seat with adjustable lumbar support in both front seats
Air conditioned glove box
Tire pressure sensors
Tires were replaced with Continentals 2.5 years ago but still have plenty of tread life left on them
Comes with 2 electronic keys
Battery replaced last month
All recalls up to date
A/C compressor was replaced last year

The paint is in good condition with a few small chips on the doors and hood.  There are a few small door dings from parking lots. The car comes with a factory red paint pen and clear coat pen for covering chips.
The car was involved in a hit and run a while ago and the rear driver side door panel was lightly scraped by the offender leaving a few small dents. It is generally only really noticeable in certain lights.
There are some scrapes on the bottom corners of the air dam under the bumper.
Feel free to send me a message with any questions about the car.  Local buyers are welcome to come preview the car.
Arrangements can be made to pick up the winning bidder from a nearby airport or train station.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo Convertible

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

Less Flower, More Power
Pardon our political incorrectness for a moment, but the Volkswagen New Beetle was, undeniably, a "chick car." There was almost nothing that the New Beetle offered to enthusiasts (of either gender), and by the end of its run, VW had even stripped all of the exciting engines from the car's lineup. Looking to resurrect some of the excitement behind the Beetle, the third generation of the iconic car ditched the cuteness when the coupe debuted for 2012, and now the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible aims to show how much fun drivers can have without a top.
Celebrating almost six and a half decades of the Beetle convertible, Volkswagen is offering a trio of distinct special editions that celebrate three of the car's most popular decades (the '50s, '60s and '70s), but as one of the unofficial cars of the 1960s, it would almost be a crime not to test this version, right? Besides, this is also the only special edition to get the turbocharged engine. While our first drive of the 2013 Beetle Convertible was in the fuel-miser TDI variation, our two-week romp in the 2013 Beetle Convertible '60s Edition came just as peak convertible weather was kicking off down in Florida.

VW Beetle R is one mean bug

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Volkswagen's R lineup currently consists of the Golf R in North America, and the too-cool-for-school Scirocco R in Europe. It hasn't exactly been a secret as to which VW would next get the R treatment; the German manufacturer reportedly confirmed that a hotter Beetle would be coming to the US. That announcement, in August 2011, was followed up by a production-ready Beetle R Concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
After some wait, we're finally seeing spy shots of the Beetle R in Germany. The mule shown in the images here is wearing the R-Line bodykit, which adds sportier front and rear fascias, side skirts, dual exhausts and a not-so-subtle spoiler. Topped off with Volkswagen's traditional, five-spoke R wheels, we'd be just fine with the Beetle R coming to market as is.
Our spy photographer, though, seems to think that the production R will get even sportier sheetmetal, which we take to mean the more assertive look shown on the Frankfurt show car. Larger intakes on the front fascia, a bigger rear spoiler and vertical vents on the rear bumper could all be upcoming. Whether a production model will include the concept's polished wheels (R cars haven't traditionally embraced that look), vented hood and the quad-tipped exhausts remains to be seen.

Editors' Choice: Top Five 2013 Geneva Motor Show Debuts

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

We've returned from a very busy week in Switzerland, and in going back over all of our 75 stories from the Geneva Motor Show, our editors have gathered up their personal favorite debuts from the European expo.
The wonderful thing about the Geneva show is just how wide of an array of vehicles are on display - everything from funny little one-off EVs to the most exotic of supercars to, well, truly ridiculous displays of coachbuilding. And because of that, this list of our editors' favorites might not be as predictable as you think.
But we don't want to give anything away just yet. Scroll down to have a look at our team's favorites from Geneva.
