Welcome to a super opportunity. You are viewing a very impressive, 1-owner and Florida-kept and driven 2010 VW GTI with lots of performance mods and upgrades. If you have been searching for one, I do not need to tell you how hard, and incredibly rare it is to find one this clean, at this unbelievable price. This GTI is extra-clean and priced to sell quickly! Certainly the best color combination for this performance hatchback. High-gloss Carbon Steel Grey Metallic exterior with matching Black cloth sport interior. The exterior has a mirror finish. It is fully loaded.....and has a super-aggressive look, and performance to match! Great sound comes from the electronically fuel-injected 2.0 liter Turbocharged powerplant and is applied smoothly to the ground through its automatic transmission, to give you the best driving experience combined with complete control.

This performance import is an absolute pleasure to drive! Plain and simple, it drives like new. Completely loaded with full power options, 17-inch color-keyed factory aluminum alloy wheels and APR Stage 2 performance system, the GTI performs as good as it looks. This GTI is fast! All while being mild-mannered as a daily driver. With this package, you get the best of both worlds! The original exterior has a brilliant and spectacular finish and is in fantastic shape. The interior is equally as appealing, and it is extra-clean. The only thing we noticed is what appeared to be a small, eraser-head sized hole on the passenger seat that has been professional repaired.  No issue now, and it doesn't even show up in the pictures. Everything works perfectly and properly, and we have just serviced this car. It has a complete set of brand new 45-series heat-and-speed rated Michelin Pilot Sport performance radials all the way around, designed for any driving condition, Wet or Dry! They are brand new, and the complete set, with alignment cost over $1,000. Michelin Pilot Sports are the BEST...period!

Additionally, it has a complete set of brand new brakes, both front and rear. And we mean both the metallic pads, and the new rotor discs. This too was over $1,000 total when including the oil change and coolant flush. We have this attractive and aggressively-styled 2010 VW GTI priced incredibly for a fast sale. Lowest price in the country for a mint condition, 1-owner GTI with thousands of dollars in recent service as well as thousands of dollars in upgrades. It has a complete B&B full stainless steel exhaust system and Injen forced air induction. Please excuse me if I am not completely versed in everything that the APR Stage 2 system includes, such as the blow off valve and performance tune, but I will try and answer any questions that I can. Clean and Clear AutoCheck with no issues and this has never been in an accident. All this beauty needs is a new home. Clean, corrosion-free undercarriage, smooth, flat roads with no hills and potholes in this Sunny and Warm climate--your suspension will thank you for that, as will the transmission. All these things add up to a better vehicle. No disappointments here. Very-clean, fast and a pleasure to drive. One step on the gas, and you will have a grin on your face from ear-to-ear. The performance exhaust system sounds great. Also, aluminum race pedals provide sure footing, whether trailing down a windy road, or a simple drive to the market. This beauty also has the factory glass sunroof, tinted solar ray glass, factory security system and high-power audio system. It is wired with high-quality audio cables if you wanted to add additional speakers or a sub woofer.

This car has never been smoked in. Imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy sport hatchback, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road. As expected, Crystal Clean CarFax and AutoCheck reports, with absolutely no accidents or title problems of any kind. How's that for peace of mind! VW brands excluded from Wards 10 Best Engines for 2016

Tue, Oct 6 2015

You definitely won't be seeing a powerplant from Volkswagen or Audi on the 2016 Ward's 10 Best Engines list. In a serious rebuke against them, WardsAuto is excluding all VW/Audi powertrains for at least this year after the German automakers' ongoing emissions regulations evasions. There's no guarantee of the companies returning for 2017, either. In a story on its website, WardsAuto executive editor Tom Murphy writes that the ban lasts "until we are convinced the culture of deceit has been purged, fines have been paid and regulators are satisfied." That could be a while, the way things are looking. The exclusion knocks three powertrains out of the running for this year's list. As a winner last year, WardsAuto would usually test VW's 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder again for 2016. Plus, it planned to check out the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the Audi A6 and the plug-in hybrid from the A3 Sportback E-Tron. In the story, Murphy finds VW's actions particularly despicable because of what they could be doing to the popularity of diesel passenger cars in this country. "BMW, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, and Fiat Chrysler also sell light-duty diesel engines in the US, but their sales outlook suddenly has grown murky, thanks to VW's shenanigans," he writes. So far, Jaguar Land Rover is remaining confident of US consumers continuing to buy diesel models, though. We'll be able to see the real effects of VW and Audi's ban in a few months because the 2016 Ward's 10 Best Engines will be published December 10. With two major automakers out of the running, their rivals will likely greet this as a better chance to make the grade.

Former Porsche boss Wiedeking won't face criminal charges over VW bid

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Hedge fund managers have been suing Porsche for years now, alleging that the car company lied about its intentions during its failed attempt to take over Volkswagen, a gambit that caused them billion in losses. Over the same period, authorities in Stuttgart built a criminal case against former CEO Wendelin Wiedeking (above, left) and Chief Financial Officer Holger Härter (right), filing charges in December 2012. When those fund plaintiffs lost their most recent court case, one of the dimming lights in the dark and receding tunnel was that the criminal investigation might unearth more evidence about Porsche's actions that could help the plaintiffs in pending litigation.
Bloomberg reports that another light has gone out, though, with a Stuttgart court dismissing the market manipulation case before going to trial because, as a court spokesperson said, "there wasn't enough evidence backing up the charges." When prosecutors get the files back from the court, they have a week to decide to refile, but unless they've been sandbagging evidence that could bolster the case, the only lights at the end of the tunnel will be those welcoming Wiedeking and Härter back to the world of legally unencumbered men.

Volkswagen Group Chairman Ferdinand Piech resigns

Sat, Apr 25 2015

Ferdinand Piech, Volkswagen Group's chairman of the supervisory board, has resigned from the company. His wife, Ursula, has also left her position on the board. A statement put out by VW in German said the move was due to the fact that "mutual trust is no longer present," and the board's deputy chairman, Berthold Huber, will be interim chairman. It's been just two weeks since Ferdinand Piech told Germany's Der Spiegel magazine that he didn't want Group CEO Martin Winterkorn to become the next chairman and that he was keeping the CEO at a distance. That public comment surprised just about everyone, and led to a meeting in Piech's office in Austria. The leadership committee supported Winterkorn, and that was backed up by official, pro-Winterkorn messages from VW labor leaders and the German state of Lower Saxony. After that meeting, Piech agreed to support Winterkorn in public, but it was widely suspected that the fight wasn't over. Now it might be. This is not a changing, but rather an explosion of the guard. Piech lived for VW, and he and his Porsche kin still have a 51-percent stake in the Volkswagen Group. Frankly, we have a feeling that this still isn't over. The official statement from VW in English is below. Statement of the Executive Committee of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG Wolfsburg, 25 April 2015 -- The Executive Committee of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG discussed again today in detail the situation of the Volkswagen Group. 1.: The members of the Executive Committee have unanimously determined that in view of the background of the last weeks the mutual trust necessary for successful cooperation no longer exists. 2.: For this reason Professor Dr. Ferdinand K. Piech has resigned with immediate effect from his position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and from all his mandates as a Supervisory Board member within the Volkswagen Group. In addition, Ms. Ursula Piech has resigned with immediate effect from all her Supervisory Board mandates within the Volkswagen Group. 3.: The position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board will be temporarily assumed by the Deputy Chairman Berthold Huber. Mr. Berthold Huber will chair both the Supervisory Board meeting on May 4 as well as the Annual General Meeting on May 5, 2015. 4.: Under the chair of Mr. Berthold Huber the representatives of shareholders and employees will in close cooperation determine the candidate for the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
