What you are looking at is a 1995 Volkswagen Eurovan camper that has 55,000 actual original miles and its in great shape. Its an automatic and it runs and drives great. Its currently registered and it has a Clean California Title in my name. You can see in the pictures that the canvas top and interior are in excellent condition. The outside looks great to but you can see the dent on the back hatch in the pictures. Even though it has the dent you can see the paint is still in great shape so it is a good looking van. I just put brand new tires on it, they are less then a 2 months old and have like 200 miles on them. Everything also works great in the van. Honestly you can see in the pictures the condition of the sink and stove, they were hardly ever used. The van was basically used for travelling and sleeping in, it was never really used for cooking or camping. I have all the pictures of the van I have on here but I could take more, but to get them it would be best to call and ask for them. I dont really check my emails very often and I prefer calls over text messages. If you are looking for an older Eurovan this one will definately not disappoint. I dont think you can find a 1995 model in much better condition. You can come check it out if you want before placing a bid. If you would like to fly out and see it I would be more then happy to pick you up at the airport and bring you to see it. I would also be willing to pick up the winner at the airport. The closest airports for me would be Oakland International Airport, San Francisco International Airport or Sacramento International Airport. The van is at my home in Antioch California and thats the only place it can be seen. If you win it you can arrange to have it shipped to you or you can pick it up and drive it home. Volkswagen could outsell GM in China for the first time in nine years

As of the end of November, Volkswagen had sold 70,000 more cars than General Motors in China in 2013, making it appear inevitable that VW will outsell GM there. The feat would return the German brand to the top of chart in China for the first time in nine years, but even the second-place getter won't be complaining too loudly: both automakers sold more than three million vehicles in a market pegged to hit 16 million sales this year.
Volkswagen said it could have sold more cars if it had had more production capacity in China. The arrival of a new-to-China Audi A4, a China-built A3 sedan, the VW Bora and Skoda Octavia, as well as an $18.2-billion-euro investment in the country to construct new factories, means VW should see its numbers grow in 2014. GM's lineup is expanding next year, too, adding four Chevrolet nameplates and two vehicles to its Baojun brand as it tries to get to five million in sales by 2015.
Among other automakers, Ford benefited from good product and woes for Japanese automakers over a territorial dispute with China, outselling Toyota by almost 32,000 units through the end of November. The Ford Focus is China's best-selling vehicle so far this year.

What the Volkswagen I.D. concept tells us about the post-TDI future

If you've been paying attention, 2016 hasn't been a great year for Volkswagen. The TDI scandal removed VW's last crutch between our internal combustion present and the electric future, and so the company found itself scrambling to shift resources to show what's next right now. It's naive to assume that this is truly the sort of fairytale comeback story that VW's spin doctors would have us all believe, but it's notable that instead of flinching or pointing fingers, the engineers got to work. What they've produced is the I.D. concept, the third wave in VW's volume car history after the Beetle and Golf. The transaxle Golf was more than simply an updated Beetle, and likewise the I.D. is more than an electrified Golf. VW says the I.D. won't replace the Golf, but they said the same thing about that car replacing the Beetle. It's only a matter of time. The I.D. approach is refreshingly simple: no carbon fiber chassis, no exotic battery chemistry, no outrageous concept car styling. The MEB chassis (the German acronym for modular electric platform) is made out of a traditional mix of high-strength steel grades to save costs and utilize existing factories. The battery is integral, not swappable, to reduce complexity and increase structural rigidity. It's also uses lithium-ion chemistry because of a proven track record and an existing (albeit deficient) supply chain. Contrast that with the e-Golf, which shares its chassis with the conventional internal-combustion cars. Fitting the battery and its ancillary systems became complicated and expensive. The skateboard installation in the I.D. will allow the pack to be optimized for the space available, reducing costs. As we've already reported, MEB will be shared across all VW Group brands to achieve an economy of scale, and the modular platform can be stretched to the size of roughly a Passat and down to a car slightly smaller than the I.D. It can be given all-wheel drive, although VW's e-mobility chief Christian Senger is quick to point out that the standard rear-drive configuration provides plenty of traction because of optimal weight distribution achieved with battery in the middle of the chassis. It makes all-wheel drive more of a bonus rather than a necessity in bad weather.
