Selling this pristine low mileage Vanagon Westfalia in immaculate condition. Never smoked in. Very clean interior with no rips or tears. Exterior just got paint due to fading clear coat. I have pics of how nice this van was before paint. Never in an accident! Was owned by a Boeing Engineer previously who was meticulous in the maintenance and care of this Westy. I have a stack of records an inch thick which will be conveyed to the new owner. Engine completely and professionally rebuilt recently. Transmission rebuilt at same time by premier transmission rebuilder who specialized in Vanagons. (best builder in this state!)

This Van does not have many options like A/C, cruise or power windows, but does have Power and Heated side Mirrors. I would drive this van anywhere with TOTAL confidence. No seam rust issues. It has been in the Pacific Northwest its entire life. Very difficult to find a Wesfalia in this condition with documented low miles. I will include an auto check report with the sale.

Volkswagen taps Porsche chief for board

Matthias Mueller was promoted to the top position at Porsche in 2010 after a successful stint of developing model lines during his 36 years with the company, mainly at Audi. Having shown the same prowess while overseeing Porsche for the past five years, German outlet Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Mueller will be promoted to the management board of the Volkswagen Group, according to a leaked copy of an agenda for the meeting. It's said that a new spot is being created for him, one that will put him in charge of "overseeing cooperation" among Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, and Porsche. While other group executives are known to hold positions on the board and with brands, or across brands, it isn't clear yet whether Mueller will keep his spot at the CEO of Porsche after the promotion. One thing that is certain is the 61-year-old Mueller doesn't see himself in line for Volkswagen Group CEO Martin Winterkorn's job in 2016, having told FAZ this month, "It's no solution to put a 63-year-old at the head of Volkswagen." Toyota reclaims global sales crown, GM and VW not far behind

TheDetroitBureau.com reports Toyota has retaken the global sales crown. The Japanese automaker turned out 9.75 million vehicles last year, putting it just ahead of General Motors, with 9.29 million vehicles. Volkswagen, meanwhile, filled out the podium by building 9.1 million units in 2012.
Still, Toyota numbers fell just below projections the automaker made earlier in the year, due largely to a fierce territorial dispute between Japan and China that has seen mainland buyers shun Japanese goods. But the news marks a substantial comeback for Toyota. The company fell to third place in the global production race in 2011 after tragic earthquake and tsunami caused several plant closures.
In Japan, Toyota enjoyed a sales increase of 35 percent over the previous year, while the company's worldwide sales jumped by 23 percent thanks in part to new additions to the Prius line. The automaker is forecasting yet another increase for 2013, with the company projecting to reach 9.91 million units this year. Neither Volkswagen nor GM have released their own projections just yet.
