1988 Volkswagen Vanagon maroon automatic with 145,000 miles (odometer shows 205,000 cluster has been replaced.) Front heat blower motor is out, but I have the parts to replace it. The air conditioning components worked, but the freon has leaked out. I bought it in 2012 and drive it about 20 miles daily. The owner before me bought it in 1991 and used it for his daily driver. The exhaust is rusted out and has been patched up several times. It is noisy but can still be driven. The valve cover gaskets were recently replaced. Has some rust at the steps for the front seats, behind the front and rear wheels, and some small spots on the body. The frame is solid, and the tires are all matching. The van seems to be in great shape for an 88 that is driven on a regular basis (mostly local driving) in the Midwest. Comes with many extra parts. Any questions, contact Dustin (217) 504-6897 |
