I have a used Tundra for sale. It runs like a champ. Starts every time, no sputtering, no smoke. Transmission shifts and runs smoothly. The 4x4 works great with the push of a button. The interior has normal wear and tear for a truck this age, but there are no rips in the leather. Tires are at about 30% left. Brakes were replaced less than a year ago with Brembo disks and AC Delco pads. New battery last week, and the AC was vacuumed and recharged. Radio works fine. I'm getting rid of it because there are a few things that need attention and I don't have the facilities to work on it myself. Thus I'm upgrading and passing it on. The speedometer just quit recently. (about a 3 months ago but I haven't been driving it since) When this happened the check engine light came on and the odometer stopped going. If you know the right person to work on it I'm sure it won't take long. I just don't have time to deal with it. Lastly the hood latch needs adjusted so that it will close fully. There are a few dents on the side that can be seen in the pictures. Shouldn't be hard to pop them out if you feel the need. I'm listing it at the Kelly Blue Book value for a vehicle in "Fair" condition.

Redesigned 2014 Toyota Tundra spied testing in Canada

When Toyota first announced that it would be bringing the 2014 Tundra pickup to next month's Chicago Auto Show, we weren't quite sure if the truck would fall into the "all-new" or "refreshed" category. After seeing this latest set of spy shots, we're striking "all-new" from the record, but the enhancements do appear to be more than just a simple nip/tuck.
While the overall shape and greenhouse haven't really changed, heavy cladding found on the front fascia suggests that a totally redesigned nose is in store, with a fully reworked grille flanked by new headlamps. Smaller styling details are hidden by the big panels of camouflage, but we anticipate a few minor tweaks to the rest of the pickup's design when all that black tape finally comes off.
Mum's the word on powertrain enhancements (if any), as well as any changes that have been made to the chassis. But with the updated 2013 Ram 1500 already on the street, the recent unveiling of the updated 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, and a preview of what's to come from the likes of Ford, we certainly hope Toyota has injected enough new blood into its 2014 model year pickup to keep it competitive in this American-dominated segment. We'll know for sure come Chicago.

Toyota Prius gets higher clearance, better suspension in Pakistan

It's been 16 years since the Toyota Prius launched in Japan. Finally, the world's most popular hybrid is becoming the first hybrid car to show up in Pakistan. This version of the Prius has been customized by Indus Motor Company (IMC) in order to deal with, well, let's just say some challenging road conditions. IMC knows what it's doing, and has modified Toyota and Daihatsu vehicles for the Pakistani market for over 20 years. The Prius brings with it the iconic shape and Parvez Ghias, CEO of IMC, told The Technology Times that the car's arrival, "is indeed a great milestone, not only in the history of IMC, but, of the entire nation." Pakistan Today says that IMC is beefing up the ground clearance of the imported Priuses and adds a "robust suspension system." Why would this be important? Well, the US Department of State warns travelers to beware of crowded roads, aggressive and poorly trained drivers and bad roads that could include potholes and sharp drop-offs. Then there's the "donkeys, cattle, horse carts, and even the occasional camel [that] can pose roadside hazards in some areas." There's also the big problem of terrorism-related violence in Pakistan, but we haven't heard that the Pakistan Prius has been bullet- and shrapnel-proofed.
