Ebay does not recognize Europeans vins so the real vin is  JT1V0LJ7009012910.This Toyota LJ70 will be sold with clean and clear florida title.Import from Europe, left hand drive. Can be seen in sunny st pete florida.UNLIKE some other sellers here on Ebay,ALL my vehicles are sold WITH a clean and clear Florida title,NOT with a promise from a seller somewhere overseas in another country since I know for a fact, there are a few Toyotas  on ebay that will NOT pass USA customs and WILL be seized and destroyed and your money is gone also, some where overseas.IF things sounds too good to be true,it probably is :-).I also don't let friends or family bid on my stuff to pump the prices up.If I relist, its just because it didn't meet reserve and no one contacted me later.I see a lot of imports do crazy prices and get sold and then being relisted a week later :-).I also see Toyotas here on Ebay, coming from the same sources as where I find mine, and I passed on them since they where to crappy, and are being sold here by others and being described as nice vehicles, thats easy from overseas,no recourse. But they where cheap,or not :-)Be careful, its a jungle out there :-) ,grass is always greener on the other side, make sure you check my 15 years on ebay and my perfect feedback with never a negative, thank you.

Pauls Haus of G and other imports offers:

The year of this LJ70 is 1986,2.4 diesel 4 cylinder turbo, rare left hand drive and will be sold with clean and clear florida title.Truck is very rustarm. Its not new,its an 1986 but its a very very nice driver that does not need anything, except a new owner. If you don't have $27000 to spend and don't want to drive RHD,then this truck might be a very good option.I have another LJ 70 with 100k miles, silver, also nice. Not as nice as this white one though. I specialize in import of diesel vehicles from Europe, not neccesarily are that European build vehicles, and I do 2 wd and 4x4.This 1986 LJ70 has nice aftermarket seats and nice wheels with almost new tires and runs like a champ,no ac.Has 202km on the clock and has a lot of life left. They will run 30 to 40 miles to the gallon. I also have some Nissan patrols, nissan kingcabs,Mercedes G, land-rovers,monteros,etc 89 and older, all diesel. Here in fla I always have about 15 vehicles in stock,in my European warehouse always about another 20.I live here in st pete, fla and that's where I have my lot. I always read how much fun and cool it is to drive a right hand drive car and I know its personal but I think it stinks :-),just my 2 cents.I have also 2 BJ73s.Those are all technically good with nice interiors but need a lil loving on the outside.i also have a 4 door Montero and a 4 door landrover Santana and a bunch of G wagons.I also import regular diesel cars like bmw, mercedes, etc, also 89 and older,i have a BMW 324TD touring stationwagon 1989,5 speed manual, leather,ac.And some Mercedes diesel cars, with and without ac.I enter- tain offers outside ebay and will end auction early if agreed on a price.

We are a licensed and bonded car/export/import dealership, same ownership, same name and same location for almost No financing so make sure you talked with the wife and counted your money, feel free to call me anytime 727 259 3021 Paul 1000 deposit within 1 hour of auction ends, balance to be paid within 3 days, storage free for as long as you need and yes,i will assist with nationwide transport. And if u don't have snow,it wont look bad in the mountains, desert, beach or mudbog either :-).I also have some hilux 4x4 crewcabs diesels and other non US compliant in my European warehouse, years 2000 to 2005 who I can export worldwide but not to usa due to import restrictions, and I also have an 1985 landcruiser pickup and a 1988 troopy who are ok for the usa,but are expensive.I also have a 1987 hilux double cab4x4 diesel.

Thanks paul

The techie choice | 2017 Toyota Prius Prime Quick Spin

Wed, Jun 14 2017

The Prius nameplate has been inexorably tied to the green car scene for a long time now. When Toyota unleashed the Prius Prime upon the world, we said it was the best Prius yet. But this is no longer a world where Toyota's hybrids are automatically crowned king. Our recent time with the Hyundai Ioniq trio was a stark reminder that the economical, eco-conscious competition is getting stiffer. We put some miles on a Prius Prime to see how our recent Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid test colors our view of Toyota's prime contender. Our first impression: the Prius design is very clean and inorganic. As sterile as it feels, the design appears to have a lot of actual thought behind it. Our Advanced trim tester is spiritually in touch with the mobile gadget culture, with a huge touchscreen, digitization of seemingly everything, and white and black glossy plastic aesthetic. It's a tech-heavy design that will likely seem familiar to those of us who have been interfacing with Apple designs for the past 10 or so years. The Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid, on the other hand, remains truer to the look and feel most drivers expect from their commuters. It's less about user interface, modes, and drive data, and more about just getting behind the wheel and driving. The Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid hardly even distinguishes itself from its plugless counterparts, opting to go green under cover rather than the in-your-face futurism the Prius projects. It retains the traditional instrument cluster in front of the driver, too, which the Prius Prime lacks. In the Toyota, you'll have to look around the car for the right display with the information you're looking for – there's the huge central touchscreen with all its menus, as well as smaller displays above it on the dash – or you can find your speed on the HUD. The Prius is composed in its handling, but doesn't provide much of the sensory feedback that makes one feel connected to the chassis. The steering feels super artificial, but the car stays fairly flat in the corners without providing too much feedback through the seat of your pants. Hyundai's offering, though, proved to be a surprisingly willing dance partner in the corners. While feeling equally as capable as the Prius, the Ioniq's sense of connection through steering and suspension made the act of stitching one turn after another together enough to get our blood pumping. Sport mode makes the Prius Prime slightly livelier, though.

Final decision on Toyota/BMW sports car due by year end

Fri, Sep 18 2015

BMW and Toyota signed a memorandum of understanding to share technology and build a sports car way back in 2012, and months later, they made that partnership official. This oft-rumored model from two auto industry titans still hasn't hit the road, and the time has come to make a final decision about its future. Thankfully, the model's fate is just a few months from being known. "By the end of the year we will approve whether or not we will make it," a Toyota spokesperson said about the sports car project, according to Automotive News Europe. "The whole study before that, on what kind of platform, on what kind of architecture, that's been progressing quite well. We haven't yet decided to give the green light to the project, but it's coming up." The collaboration is supposed to result in jointly developed fuel-cell tech, composites, and research into lithium-air batteries. Little is officially known about what Toyota and BMW are planning for the sports car project, but there are plenty of rumors about what's in store. Both automakers are supposed to get their own version of the vehicle. Some reports say the Japanese model will be the revival of the Supra, and the Bimmer-badged one might end up being a replacement for the Z4. The potential powertrains have been suggested as a German-sourced, turbocharged inline six with rear-wheel drive and a super-capacitor-powered plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive.

Europe on track to buy more PHEVs than hybrids by 2019

Mon, Apr 27 2015

LMC Automotive, formerly the forecasting division of J.D. Power & Associates, predicts that plug-in hybrids will sell better than conventional hybrids by 2019. By 2021, it envisions PHEV sales at 600,000 units yearly compared to 325,000 standard hybrid sales, and by 2024 PHEV sales are expected to account for 1.2 million sales every year. Part of LMC's prediction is based on a few factors, such as that it believes "electric-only operation will come to be seen as a true luxury characteristic and will be prized sufficiently to command significant premiums." Certain PHEVs are helped in countries like the UK and The Netherlands by generous incentives or other perks, like avoiding inner London's congestion charge, that allow them to address their price differences compared to standard offerings. And the number of PHEVs on the market will soon eclipse regular hybrids, coming from makers across the spectrum. Volvo has twice recently, and only belatedly, learned of the popularity of PHEVs: in 2013 it had to triple production of the V60 PHEV, and just this month it said demand for its XC90 PHEV is four times expectations. The Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid is outselling the traditional hybrid Panamera by more than seven-to-one. And then there's Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, Europe's best-selling PHEV with 19,855 units, a volume more than three times larger than the second-best seller. Although LMC sees hybrid growth slowing, they're still doing well. Toyota and Lexus build the top-five selling traditional hybrids in Europe, combining for 72 percent of European sales, with the new Auris and Yaris hybrids alone selling 123,506 units in 2014. For LMC's forecast to come true, Europe will need a spectacular change in buying habits, since the top ten conventional hybrids tallied 175,847 sales in 2014, and the top ten PHEVs rang up 36,138 sales.
