For sale is a Toyota Highlander 2012 4X4 AWD Wagon SUV. This is the most sought after HYBRID model. This Toyota only has 13149 Miles and is LIKE NEW!

The car has a New-Jersey SALVAGE title, it can be rebuilt. As far as the damage goes, the front left bumper damper is damaged and the left front corner with the fender are damaged. I did not see any damage to the frame but I cannot guarantee that there isn't any. The wheels all seem to be straight, the geometry doesn't seem to be affected but I cannot guarantee it.

The engine starts and the car runs, however the air-bag light is ON. Because of that the car is immobilized. The transmission shifts from Park to Drive or Reverse and so on but the car does not move. You can hear the transmission shift, but upon pressing on the gas pedal nothing happens. After doing some research, the dealer told me that this is a security measure, when the air-bag light is on the car is immobilized.

The car is sold AS-IS and WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY.

It is Located in Champlain, NY, 12919.
I can ship it WORLDWIDE, message me or call me for a quote, you can reach me at 1-514-654-4332.

Toyota recalls 4,000 Tacoma pickups over valve springs

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

When you build as many cars and trucks as Toyota does, you're bound to run into the occasional recall. In the past month alone, the Japanese auto giant has recalled over 800,000 Camry, Avalon and Venza models over problems with the air-conditioning units, and 10,000 more before that over windshield wiper issues. Now Toyota has issued another recall notice, but this time for far fewer vehicles.
The recall revolves around the engine valve springs in the 2013 and 2014 Tacoma, specifically those fitted with the standard 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine and not the optional 4.0-liter V6. The issue is that the valve springs are prone to cracking and breaking over time, and results from improper maintenance of the manufacturing equipment used by one of the two suppliers that outfit Toyota with the components in question.
All told, some 4,000 vehicles will be subject to the voluntary recall, the owners of which will receive notice by mail. If you think that could be you and want to get a jump on the problem, you can read the announcement below and call Toyota yourself.

Ford F-150 bumps Camry from top of Cars.com American Made Index

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

With July 4th just around the corner, what better time could there be for Cars.com to announce that the Ford F-150 is the Most American car of 2013? This may be especially true since it was the Toyota Camry, a car produced by a company based in Japan, that had held the top spot from 2009 to 2012.
Cars.com compiles its Most American list by considering the amount of parts each vehicle uses that come from America, where it's final assembly takes place and how many units per year are sold. "While the assembly point and domestic parts content of the F-150 didn't change from 2012-2013, vehicle sales are responsible for bumping the F-150 to the top spot," according to Patrick Olsen, Editor-in-Chief of Cars.com.
As far as automakers go (as opposed to individual models), Toyota retains the top spot it held in 2012, with General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Honda (in that order) rounding out the list. The motivation behind this list each year, according to Olsen, is "to help car shoppers understand that 'American-Made' extends beyond just the Detroit three" and because "a study we conducted in 2012 indicated that 25 percent of shoppers surveyed preferred to buy American."

Toyota FT-1 Concept presents a future we want to live in [w/videos]

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Toyota has brought its A game to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, showing off the striking FT-1 Concept. Short for "Future Toyota," the FT-1 is, we're imagining, the supposed Supra Concept we reported on early in December.
Penned by the Calty Design Research team, the FT-1 draws inspirations from the FT-HS and the Lexus LF-LC concepts from 2007 and 2012, respectively. We certainly see a bit of Lexus LF-A in the design, while there's more than a hint of Formula One in the FT-1's pointed nose.
"Our team was heavily influenced by Toyota's sports car past, especially Celica and Supra, and we sought to capture some of that history. It is an aggressive, track-focused sports car concept with a presence that has been amplified for shock and awe," said Alex Shen, Calty's Studio Chief Designer.
