2006 Toyota Avalon Touring Sedan in excellent condition with 126,000 miles. While I can describe the car, I would encourage you to Google the car and read all the positive reviews and features. The car has the 3.5 liter motor that delivers 268 HP and gets 30 mpg on the highway. It has a timing chain instead of a belt which lowers maintenance costs. It even uses regular gasoline.

It is extremely comfortable with leather seats. The front ones are 12-way powers and have power adjustable lumbar support. The rears actually recline and have separate heating and AC controls and vents. The floor is flat. Dual climate controls are easy to use and the radio sound quality is fantastic. It is like driving around your living room. I wanted the touring sedan for the suspension upgrades. The car is Blue Mirage Metallic although I always find it amusing the names that the manufacturers come up with for paint colors. It is light metallic blue and there aren't any mirages. The paint is glossy and looks great. There are two small parking lot dents and a 3 inch scratch on the bumper.

The tires are Goodyear performance all seasons and are about 85%. Replaced the brakes about 9,000 miles ago and have records showing the scheduled maintenance has been completed.

I live in Tonasket Washington which is 22 miles south of the Canadian border in the north central part of Washington State. It takes five hours to drive east over the Cascade Mountains from Seattle and three hours to continue east to Spokane. I would consider delivering the car for expenses since it is so great to drive.

Ryan Tuerck's Ferrari-powered Gumout GT4586 debuts at SEMA

Las Vegas is famous for its shotgun marriages, but the only Sin City nuptials we're interested in is the one officiated by Ryan Tuerck between a Toyota GT86 and the V8 engine from a Ferrari 458 Italia. The insane Gumout GT4586, as it's called, is probably one of the most well-known of the 2016 SEMA Show's stars, after video popped up showing the rear-drive Frankenstein firing up and spitting flames through its weird, front-mounted exhausts. The day after we published that video, which showed the GT86 in mostly bare frame, Gumout and Tuerck posted a second clip showing the Japanese-Italian coupe literally running rings around a 458 while wearing its sheetmetal and yellow-tinted headlights. The car's look in that second video carried over to the Las Vegas Convention Center floor, where the GT4586 showed up sans hood, ludicrously wide tires, and a huge wing and rear diffuser. Recharge Wrap-up: BMW plans for retired batteries; automakers support dual-standard chargers

Toyota will test hybrids with silicon-carbide (SiC) power semiconductors. In Japan, Toyota has put the SiC power semiconductors into the power control units of a Camry Hybrid prototype and a fuel cell bus for a year-long test. Research suggests the SiC units will decrease electrical losses while managing power supply, thus improving overall powertrain efficiency. Current power semiconductors account for about 20 percent of electrical losses, and success with these tests could mean more efficient hybrids on the roads in the future. Read more at Hybrid Cars. Automakers from CCS and CHAdeMO camps are supporting dual-standard charging station networks. https://www.autoblog.com/bmw/, Volkswagen (CCS camp) and ChargePoint announced plans to build "express charging corridors" by installing about 100 DC fast chargers, many of which will support both types of charging. Kansas City Power & Light is partnering with Nissan (CHAdeMO camp) and ChargePoint to install DC chargers that "will charge any model of electric vehicle on the market." BMW, Bosch and utility company Vattenfall are making plans for a second life for retired BMW i3 batteries. The Second Life Batteries Alliance project will recycle the old lithium ion battery packs - which can still hold a charge - in off-grid storage and grid-stabilization applications, beginning with a grid storage system in Hamburg, Germany. Bosch has created a battery management algorithm to extend the life of the batteries and make sure they don't cause harm to Vattenfall's facilities. Read more at Transport Evolved.
