For sale is my 1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with a removable top, similar to old Bronco's and Blazers. It comes with the 3.0 liter V6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission, and 4-wheel drive in both high and low gears. The truck was purchased in Utah and is virtually rust-free. It has a Pro-Comp 4 inch suspension lift, 35-1250R15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires and custom aftermarket wheels. There are both front and rear aftermarket bumpers, as well as a set of functioning PIAA lights on the front. It also has a tow hitch on the back, a functioning CB radio , power locks and windows, as well as a power rear window and a sunroof. the truck has 2 bucket seats in the front, with a rear folding bench in the rear for cargo space. There is an aftermarket stereo system with an amp that is wired in and sub-ready. It currently has 214k miles on it, but the engine runs like a top, with a recently replaced head gasket. The paint is fading only on the roof. There are a few minor scratches, no dents anywhere. The interior is solid. the front is nice and clean, the rear is decent, but missing a few trim pieces to make removing the roof easier. Toyota Prius line may not reach 2013 sales target
Mon, 22 Apr 20132012 was a good year for the Toyota Prius line, the hybrid that started it all moving 236,659 units, being the best-selling model in California for the year and the Prius C (pictured) being deemed the most reliable car of 2012 by Consumer Reports. Then 2013 happened, and gas prices dropped more than expected, and people haven't been buying the little hybrids like they used to.
A report in Bloomberg says Toyota set 250,000 units as the Prius family's sales target for this year, but hits like the double-digit drop in year-on-year performance in February have helped lower 2013 sales by 8.4 percent compared to 2012, making the objective "a challenge" to reach. The declines in Prius sales come even as hybrid sales overall were up in the first couple of months this year, including sales of other Toyota and Lexus hybrids. Jim Lentz, Toyota's North American chief, said the Prius target would be adjusted if necessary.
Toyota Aygo, Citro?n C1 to join Peugeot 108 in Geneva
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Just the other day, Peugeot took the wraps off the new 108. But its new city car, like the 107 it replaces, doesn't stand on its own. The 107 was a sister vehicle to not only the Citroën C1 but also the Toyota Aygo. So it should come as little surprise that, while Peugeot was the first to release photos and details on its version, Citroën and Toyota will also be on hand with their own versions when the veils lift on all three at the Geneva Motor Show.
We're expecting the new trio of budget-oriented hatchbacks to bear the fruits of individual efforts to distinguish themselves one from another more than their predecessors, which essentially looked the same save for different badges. But from the teaser image above, we'd venture that the Toyota version will be a further departure from the 108 than the C1 will be.
One way or another we'll have to wait and see, but for now you can view Toyota's teaser clip below, along with the press releases confirming the debut of both in Geneva next month.
