Ice cold AC, Cruise control,Tilt steering wheel,Cd radio with aux,power windows,locks and mirrors. Front seats are black leather carpeted floor, Truck has onstar and compass/temp gauges in rear view mirror. This is a ex-dot Supervisor truck (thus the reason for all the options plus these trucks are known NOT TO TOW ANYTHING) and has high miles but you wouldn't be able to tell if you looked at truck in person. This truck has no oil/water/trans/rear/brake leaks,smoking,knocks,ticking, oil is very clean and engine has good oil psi,all gauges on dash on work this truck does not overheat, has new ac delco water pump and coolant hoses,new heater hoses as heater works as well,new ac delco battey,new bosch fuel pump and fuel sender assembly,new fluids in diff,trans and engine. engine oil change was recently done a week ago, rebuilt starter,ac delco altentor and new battery cables, truck has new plug wires and plugs ac delco. Truck brakes without any issues and steers well no death wobbles or bad shakes or pulling to either side. Has 4 good 10ply tires with about 20-25K miles left on them. Truck was recently detailed as well as cleaned thoroughly inside and out. All windows works,radio works,headlamps and exterior and interior lamps. All lights,outlets inside and out work on the truck all gauges on the dash work without and prblems or fading. You wont find a cheaper cleaner 2500HD truck at this price on EBAY if it had less miles I wouldn't be asking this price for truck. This isn't a 1500 pickup which come a dime a dozen this truck can be used as a business or to just tow your large ass boat. I would trust truck to drive were need be as all it needs is fuel and a driver. I supplied as detailed pics as I could of truck. Truck cons are pretty much listed in vehicle conditions section of ad. it needs a 3rd brake lamp lens,driver door inside door handle,floor mats,hitch reciever in order to tow,horn and door locks are inoperative im pretty sure its just a fuse or connection. if interested in truck and you are from out of town I live 5-10mins away from Miami international airport and 30mins from ft Lauderdale international airport I can pick you up and bring you to truck with no issues. Wed, May 22 2024When General Motors created the Geo brand to sell vehicles designed and — in some cases — built by Japanese partners, the first four models were introduced for the 1989 model year: the Metro (Suzuki Cultus), Prizm (Toyota Sprinter), Spectrum (Isuzu Gemini) and Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick). Geo got the axe in 1997, with the Metro, Prizm and Tracker becoming Chevrolets. Of those, the Tracker survived the longest, with U.S.-market sales continuing into 2004. Here's an example of a very late Tracker, found in a North Carolina car graveyard recently. The 1989-1997 first-generation Trackers were based on the Suzuki Sidekick, while the 1998-2004 Trackers had the Suzuki Vitaras (not to be confused with the much grander Grand Vitaras) as their siblings. Production of these trucks for the South American market (as the Chevrolet Vitara) continued in Ecuador all the way through 2014. The Tracker name has also gone onto some versions of the Chevrolet Trax around the world. This one is a base four-door hard top/rear-wheel-drive model, which had an MSRP of $17,330. That's about $29,789 in 2024 dollars. You'll find one in every car. You'll see. The engine is a Suzuki 2.0-liter straight-four rated at 127 horsepower and 134 pound-feet. A five-speed manual was base equipment, but very few American vehicle shoppers wanted three pedals by the middle 2000s. This truck has the Aisin four-speed automatic. We like it loud. It appears that someone associated with this truck graduated from Julius L. Chambers High School last year. In the United States, the Tracker was replaced by the Saturn Vue. If Tracker can handle (unspecified Middle Eastern country), it can survive the jungle back home. Siempre contigo.
Drive pits Ariel Nomad against Suzuki bike
Thu, Oct 1 2015Ariel introduced the Nomad at the beginning of the year, which is basically an Atom converted to sand-rail duty with the addition of features like a composite cage and waterproof cockpit, Hella light bar, and Ohlins suspension with hydraulic bump stops. Evo reviewed it not long after, now Drive has got hold of it and put Steve Sutcliffe at the wheel, sending him to the Sweet Lamb Rally Center in Wales. The Nomad in this guise also gets a winch and BF Goodrich tires with a rear high-mounted spare. The motor is a US-spec, 2.4-liter Honda unit tuned to 240 horsepower and 235 pound-feet of torque, all going to the rear wheels only. The weight is just 1,477 pounds. For kicks, they sent Northern Irish motocrosser Graeme Irwin along to give Sutcliffe a point of reference. We're used to seeing cars battle bikes, and unless it's wet or the race goes to beyond 200 miles per hour the bike almost always takes it. Irwin was on his Suzuki RMZ-450, a bike with about 60 hp, but that, combined with Irwin's skills, was plenty enough to keep Sutcliffe hard at work. You can watch the dust fly in the video above. New investor allows Suzuki to fend off VW
Tue, Aug 4 2015After years of legal wrangling, the long-soured partnership between Volkswagen and Suzuki looks finally to be coming out of arbitration, according to Bloomberg. As a sign of the Japanese brand's improved fortunes, hedge fund Third Point LLC recently bought an undisclosed stake in the company. The investor reported seeing a major opportunity in the successful Maruti Suzuki business in India. As an investment, the only major problem that Third Point found with Suzuki was its legal battle with VW. "The company's greatest asset is its low-cost manufacturing process for vehicles for the emerging market consumer," the fund said in a letter, according to Bloomberg. Third Point reportedly also wants a seat on Suzuki's board, despite being a minority shareholder. The alliance between Suzuki and VW goes back to late 2009. In the deal, the Japanese brand was meant to get access to cutting-edge tech, and the German firm got a helping hand towards better establishing itself in India and Southeast Asia. Things didn't go as planned, though. Less than two years later, Suzuki's boss publicly derided the deal. Eventually, the allegations started going back and forth, and the two have been working out a way to untangle practically ever since. Among the biggest issue has been how to get back the 19.9 percent stake that VW purchased. According to Bloomberg, the arbitration is now technically over. With the divorce nearly final, the two sides are just waiting on a decision on how to split things up. Suzuki may even just buy VW's stake to get the shares back.
