Up For Auction This is a very nice 2003 Subaru Baja Yellow, all wheel drive, with 114K Miles. I have been selling salvage title cars for a long time, but Have never ran across a car that has this minor damage. It is in great condition. When it was purchased from an Insurance Auto auction, the only problem i found was the lower control arm being bent, so I replaced it. There was a fender and a bumper kept inside the car, which i took and replaced it myself. The only cons to this truck is it is missing a lower molding to the passenger side. I have not done any work to this car other than what was previously have stated. The truck runs and drives great. Has leather seats, like new. All power works great. All 4 Michelin tires close to new (90%). No any warning lights on the dashboard. Original paint is still beautiful with no dents or scratch. Initially when I first bought this truck, I wanted to keep as my own that is why I buy a bicycle holder as you will see in the pictures. Right now, I need the extra $Cash to build a building that Im looking at. This is a very nice truck. Runs & drives great. Good on gas. Hard to find. If you want, you can google and put in the VIN # and you will see the damage it has on this truck before I bought it. The truck is being sold as is, will come with Ky salvage title. If you're interested, please give me an email. Or if you're in the area and would like to take a good look for yourself, you are more than welcome to . Thank you !!! |

2014 Subaru Forester XT
Fri, 25 Jan 2013Hitting The Mainstream Sweet Spot
The Forester does quite a bit of heavy lifting for Subaru. What was once a plucky little all-wheel-drive utility box has matured into a competitive crossover that accounts for a quarter of the company's total sales in the US. With those numbers continuing to swell even in the third generation's twilight hours, engineers and designers found themselves in the unenviable position of being asked to fix what ain't broke. Rather than reinvent the company's workhorse from the ground up, as we say in our first look at the CUV, Subaru honed the Forester to offer better fuel efficiency, more usable space and a more refined drive.
In doing so, the automaker hopes to toe that delicate line between luring in new devotees to the cult of Pleiades and keeping the brand's longtime fans smiling. While the fourth-generation Forester may have lost some of its trademark pluckiness in the pursuit of a more mainstream existence, there's no denying this is a more sorted vehicle than its predecessors. Make no mistake, the 2014 Forester is keen to carve out a larger chunk of the ever-plumping CUV market for itself, and for the first time in its history, it has the muscle to do so.
Subaru is America's third most off-roaded brand
Tue, 01 Jul 2014When you think of iconic off-road brands, where does Subaru fall on your radar? Somewhere in the middle? Perhaps near the bottom? Don't worry, you're not alone. Until recently spending some time in Bend, OR, where we drove the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback, we never really pegged the Japanese automaker to be a highly lauded brand among off-road enthusiasts, despite many of the company's products actually being quite capable when the going gets rough.
But the data says we're wrong. According to a 2013 J.D. Power study, Subaru vehicles have some of the highest use off road compared to other brands - of course "off road" here just means anything not on a paved road, so even gravel trails and tame two-tracks count in these statistics. Nearly 29.5 percent of its cars are used on trails and dirt roads, with only the Ram and Jeep brands besting that statistic, at 30.2 and 31.0 percent, respectively. Said another way, Subaru sold 424,683 vehicles in the US in 2013, meaning that some 125,281 saw off-road use. Mainstream brands like GMC, Ford and Chevrolet all trail Subaru, and even Land Rover comes in at less than 20 percent.
Some 34.7 percent of Outbacks are taken off paved roads, according to J.D. Power data.
Daily Driver: Long-Term 2015 Subaru WRX
Tue, Feb 3 2015In successive weeks the middle west and eastern coast of our country were blanketed in snow. Thankfully for my fellow Michigan-based Autoblog editors and I, our long-term 2015 Subaru WRX was fitted with Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires before the first flake even fell. I stole the keys and ran out of the office was loaned the WRX for a week recently, and made good use of a sunny Saturday to take the car out for a proper, winding road drive. In the video you see here, I happened to have great weather and dry roads for the test, but rest assured that it had been snowy and gross up to that point. We're going to have lots more to say about our gold-footed 'Rex before we give it back, but in the meantime believe me when I say that the car is well-sorted for the worst that Winter '15 will throw at it.
