2003 Subaru Baja

Thank you for looking at my 2003 Subaru Baja.  This is a great car and a very rare find.  I inherited this vehicle about 2 months ago and have no need for it.  The vehicle is PA inspected until 10/14.  When I received the car I knew it needed some work so I took it to a local shop to have the following work done.  All work has less than 100 miles on it.
  • 4 New Tires
  • New Brake pads and Rotors (front and back)
  • New Shock
  • Wheel Alignment
  • New Ball Joints
  • Oil Change
  • Air Filter

I know that before I inherited the vehicle my grandmother had the front bumper and front drivers side fender painted,  It looks very nice and shiny.  The only problems I know of on the vehicle are that the pass. side power windows (front and back) are touchy with the switches.  The drivers side switch seems to work the two pass. windows sometimes, and their switches seem to work sometimes, and sometimes neither (never stuck down).  The back axle sounds like it could be replaced and other than that probably just plugs and wires.  She runs and drives well and for being 11 years old looks pretty appealing.  It does have your normal nick and chips as well as about 2-3 small dings which I tried to picture but they we so minimal it was hard to catch.

If you have any questions or concerns please ask before bidding.  Do not bid on this item if you do not plan on paying for it.  This is a no reserve auction and will be sold to the highest bidder.  There is a required deposit of $500 via paypal within 12 hours of the auction end.  The remainder of the funds are to be paid upon pick up in cash.  This vehicle is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to a sale.  Again this is a great car and will treat someone well.  Get a piece of this awesome Subaru.

Thanks

Happy Bidding.

WRX Concept styling may transfer to production Impreza, next WRX

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Remember the original concept that previewed the latest generation Subaru WRX? If not, then just look above for a gallery of photos following its debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show. We loved it, and thus, were sort of disappointed when we first saw the less-aggressive production model.
It's not that the production 2015 WRX is ugly, per se. It just doesn't have the gaping grille, four-door coupe lines or squinting headlights that give the concept so much verve. But as it turns out, Subaru might have realized that it was on the right track with the more assertive styling. Rumors coming out of Australia suggest that the shape could form the basis for the next-generation Impreza, and next WRX, along with a major platform shift.
Subaru chief designer Mamoru Ishii tells Motoring that that the next-generation car will ditch the rather utilitarian current design in favor of something more exciting. Like the WRX concept, the design will start wide at the bottom for an aggressive stance and taper up to the roof. That styling would likely get even more aggressive for the next 'Rex.

Autoblog goes on an African safari, Subaru-Style

... And Learns To Love The Ostrich
Subaru may be the ostrich of the Japanese auto industry.
When one thinks of a safari, they naturally draw pictures in their mind's eye of wild animals, like lions, elephants and giraffes. I'm no different, and it was with visions of long telephoto lenses over vast runes and dunes that I embarked on a 19-hour plane ride from Phoenix, Arizona to Plettenberg Bay in South Africa, camera gear in tow.

Subaru Levorg STI Sport prototype revealed with barely more aggressive looks

Fri, Jan 10 2020

The Subaru Levorg STI Sport prototype has been revealed at the Tokyo Auto Salon. We were expecting something that added some extra ferocity to the regular Levorg concept shown a few months ago at the Tokyo Motor Show. Instead, we have a wagon that's just barely different at all. The body itself appears unchanged with the sole exception of new fog lights in the lower front fascia. There are STI details sprinkled about, such as the trademark pink badges in the grille and on the hatch. The exhaust also features the logo stamped in the tips. And of course it gets unique wheels from the original prototype. The good news is that the Levorg was already handsome and sporty, but we would have liked to see a little more. Subaru remains mum on mechanical details. We know it will come standard with a new turbocharged 1.8-liter flat-four engine and of course all-wheel drive. We expect it will also have a version of the FA20 2.0-liter turbo engine from the WRX as an option. And speaking of the WRX, the current Levorg shares most of its bodywork with the sports sedan, so when the new generation launches it should look like this wagon. Related Video:
