2005 Scion Xb Base Wagon 4-door 1.5l on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
I have kept the front seats and steering wheel incased in seat covers and wheel cover the entire 9 years I have had this car, so the interior is in excellent shape. I was not able to photograph the back completely as the hatch back door is not opening due to the accident. The estimate I got to fix the hatch back was $1880.00 from my body guy but that was just one estimate. I decided not to spend the money to fix all the body damage because I bought a new car. I want to sell this car ASAP, as is. I have never had one mechanical issue with this car as far as the engine or any other mechanical problem. Unfortunately it has suffered wear and tear cosmetically. But the right person will find a way to fix all that! All lights and indicators work, A/C, heating and radio/CD player all work. Only back door on right side window does not go down when button pressed. All other automatic windows work. The key clicker remote was lost so must open car doors with key manually. I am willing to take best offer in cash, as is. This is the perfect, low mileage, good- on- gas car for someone who can fix the body with their own trustworthy auto body person. Any more questions please ask. If needed, bring your mechanic to check it out. I prefer local buyers in Los Angeles/Southern California. Thank you! |

Scion teases mysterious sporty iM concept for LA show
Wed, 22 Oct 2014Thoroughly cleansed of our time at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, we can now start looking forward to the next big show on the circuit (with all due respect to SEMA), the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. One of the earliest new cars slated for LA is this, the Scion iM Concept.
Now, these teaser images don't show us terribly much. We can see the headlights, foglights and wheels. The little information we can glean indicates that, based on the short hood and minimal space between the front door and front axle, the iM will be a very small vehicle. That said, a very low ride height (and Scion's own press release) claims this will be a rather sporty offering. The concept's nose and grille, meanwhile, bears some resemblance to Toyota's most recent stylings.
We'll have more when the iM Concept debuts in LA on November 19. Until then, check out the pair of teasers and the official press release, available below.
Pics Aplenty: Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ show up en masse at SEMA
Thu, 01 Nov 2012Scion made a huge investment in the 2012 SEMA show, and its spanking new FR-S coupe, by putting hundreds of cars in the hands of tuners. The result on the floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center is unmissable, as just about everywhere we turn we find another FR-S peeking out at us.
We tried to capture a large quantity of the coupes we saw on display, to represent just how thick on the ground they actually are. In the attached gallery you'll find a healthy percentage of the alleged 150-plus cars that made it to SEMA this year. You'll also find a smattering of Subaru BRZ models, too. Fair is fair.
Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
