WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEAN?

Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology:
Salvage title means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, the Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future.

Does that mean the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it.
We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy or sell anything with major damage. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road.

It saves a lot of trouble for buyers as they don’t have to get the car inspected or fill out any extra paper work as is the case with Salvage title. With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work. Attention: this car has Michigan salvage rebuilt title. This car passed Michigan salvage highway patrol inspection. There will be no issues with transferring the title or getting a license plate in any state in the US. You won't have to pass any inspections in your state, everything is done in Michigan! The title is ready to be transferred to customers name in any state in the US.

The buyer must make a deposit of $500 within 24 hours after the end of the auction. The deposit is not refundable. The rest transaction must be completed before the final title transfer. Through Paypal I accept the deposit only, the rest of the amount must be paid in the form of an official: loan check, money order or cash within 4 business days after the end of the auction.

The processing fee is $190 regardless of the state of residence. It is mandatory and non-negotiable. Processing fee covers administrative expenses affiliated with the auction that includes all the paper work, title fees, temporary license plate and next day Unites States Postal Service. This fee is not negotiable. The Processing fee is not a part of final bid amount. If you live in another state and you want to pick up your vehicle and drive it home, you are more than welcome to do so. We can arrange airport pickup. 2017 Toyota 86: The car so nice it's been rebadged twice

When the dust settles and the Scion brand is no more, the car we currently know as the Scion FR-S will be rebadged. Again. If you remember the excitement that surrounded the Toyobaru/Subota rear-drive sports coupes' introduction, you'll recall that Scion's Subaru BRZ twin landed in here as the FR-S. That car, along with the new iA and iM, will get a stay of execution next year when the brand bids adieu. We know it will wear a Toyota badge in dealers from then on, and there's a good chance it will get the 86 badge European models wear. Toyota's version of the car goes by several different names depending on the market. It's only a Scion in North America, while it's sold as the Toyota 86 (in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and South Africa), Toyota GT86 (in Europe and New Zealand again), and Toyota FT86 (in Nicaragua and Jamaica). The 86 part of the name is a nod to the rear-drive AE86 Corollas of the 1980s. That's a history lesson Toyota likely won't have to teach its core demographic. Then again, this car's core demographic probably already bought one. There's also a possibility that this car will get yet another name combination: Toyota FR-S. For the sake of simplicity, let's hope not. View 7 Photos So yes, the rebadged 86 will be re-rebadged back to a Toyota. Functionally this means almost nothing. Buyers who were ordering badge-swap kits from overseas will save some money. Some enthusiast forums might need to change their names. And people visiting from Japan or Europe will feel a little more at home when they see a rear-drive Toyota sports car on the street. Scion xB gets one more special edition

The Scion xB, which is apparently still a thing, has added a final special edition to its long-running list, with the new 686 Parklan Edition. It's limited to, you guessed it, 686 units. As is so often the case for these special editions, there's a unique paint color, decals, wheels, and nifty little trim bits. That's good news for the Brown Car Appreciation Society, as Scion has opted for a handsome Cocoa Bean Metallic paint that almost feels wasted on this aging box. The gloss black wheels, mirror caps, and tailgate handle all feature bright red accents, but it's the cabin where we really see big changes. The 686 has dictated an outdoorsy interior theme, with plenty of camo fabric and quilted finishing on the seat uppers. There are a couple of zippable pockets in the front seats, including a rather hefty storage area in the seatbacks, while the floor and cargo area are protected by 686-branded rubber floormats. The xB 686 Parklan Edition, which can only be had with an automatic transmission, will be priced at $20,480, with sales slated to begin today. Read on for the official press release from Scion. Toyota recalling 11,200 Scion iQ models over faulty passenger sensors

Toyota has announced a voluntary recall of 11,200 Scion iQ models from the 2012 and 2013 model years. According to the manufacturer, the problem with these pint-sized hatchbacks concerns the front passenger Occupant Classification System (OCS) weight sensor cables.
The OCS sensors in the front passenger seat control the operation of things like the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioner. In these affected models, the cables for these sensors located in the seat track can become damaged as the passenger seat slides forward and backward. And if the cables are damaged, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioner may not function properly.
No injuries or crashes have been reported in conjunction with this issue.
