THROUGH PAY PAL OF $500 IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO HAVE THE FULL REQUIREMENTS & YOU ARE VERY INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT ME WOW LOOK WHAT I HAVE HERE.... THIS IS A 2008 SATURN SKY TURBO. THE MOTOR IS A 2.0L TURBOCHARGED ENGINE WITH A 5 SPEED MANUEL TRANSMISSION. THE CAR ONLY HAS 3400 MILES AND THE CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE. THIS IS A RARE 2 DOOR CONVERTABLE TURBOCHARGED CAR. IT COMES EQUIPPED WITH LEATHER SEATS, CD PLAYER, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS , POWER SIDE MIRRORS. 18INCH CHROME WHEELS WITH GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 TIRES THAT ARE IN GREAT CONDITION.CHROME HANDLE TRIM, .CONVERTABLE TOP (TOP IS IN GREAT CONDITION). AND I BELIEVE THERE IS AN AFTERMARKET BLOW OFF VALVE FOR THE TURBO. THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE A NEW JERSEY SALVAGE FLOOD TITLE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY TOTALED THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE WATER DAMAGE. WE RECENTLEY HAD A STORM WHICH CAUSED THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES TO FLOOD.. SOME REALLY BAD AND SOME NOT SO BAD.. CONISDERING THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES I WOULD CONSIDER THIS NOT BAD. I DID REPLACE THE ECM SO THE MILEAGE ON THE CAR SAYS IT HAS 1 MILE. ALSO THE GARAGE IT WAS KEPT AT TOOK OUT THE HEATER FAN AND THE REAR BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. ALL OF THE LIGHTS WORK, BLINKERS, HEADLIGHTS TAILIGHTS, HAZARD LIGHTS ETC, BUT WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE BRAKE THE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK. ALSO THE POWER SIDE MIRRORS WERE NOT WORKING, AND THE SPEAKERS SEEMED TO NOT BE WORKING.. THE RADIO DOES WORK AND DISPLAY AND EVERYTHING BUT THERE IS NO SOUND COMMING OUT. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ALSO ON BUT I THINK THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH A COMPUTER CODE. THE DASH DOES WORK AND ALL THE LIGHTS WORK AS WELL. FROM WHAT I SEE, THAT IS THE JUST OF THE WATER DAMAGE. THE CAR HAS A CRACK IN THE RIGHTSIDE FENDER AS SEEN IN PIC, BUT THAT WAS FROM MOVING THE CAR AT THE SHOP.. SOMETHING MINOR. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT CAR WITH VERRRRY LOW MILES THAT RUNS AND DRIVES ( AND IT IS FAST). THERE IS SOME DEFECTS BECAUSE OF THE WATER DAMAGE BUT FOR THE PRICE YOU CANT BEAT IT. THE MAIN THING IS THE CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE AND SHIFT FINE. THANK YOU AND PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF NEEDED, BEFORE BIDDING .. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 15 OR MORE POSITIVE FEEDBACK I WILL BLOCK YOU UNLESS SPECIALLY ARRANGED. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: WE BUY & SALE VEHICLES, THIS WAS NOT MY PERSONALLY, SO I DO NOT KNOW THE FULL HISTORY.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: WE would prefer you come see the vehicle in person, just so that there is no misunderstandings. If you cant come send a friend. Junkyard Gem: 2007 Saturn Sky
Sat, Jun 26 2021The Pontiac Division didn't have long to live when the Solstice first appeared in 2005 as a 2006 model, and Saturn's head was inching toward the chopping block at about the same rate. Still, optimism reigned — at least, it did until the global economy fell apart — and so Saturn Dealers got a rebadged version of the Solstice to sell: the Sky. Available for just the 2007 through 2010 model years, slightly more than 34,000 Skies rolled out of showrooms before the doors were nailed shut. Here's one of those rare cars, found in a Denver-area self-service yard a few weeks ago. I've found a handful of discarded Solstices in car graveyards during the past few years, mostly with crash damage. This Sky endured a medium-hard impact in the right front corner, which sent it to this place. The 177-horsepower, 2.4-liter Ecotec still resides under the battered hood. The Sky Redline version had a turbocharged engine rated at 260 horses; we can assume that such an engine would be yanked and purchased by the first junkyard shopper that realized what it was. The base transmission in the Sky was an Aisin five-speed manual, but this car has the optional five-speed automatic. The Sky had its own nose and some different badging, but otherwise didn't differ much from the Solstice. For the South Korean market, the Sky got Daewoo G2X badges and was advertised as the ideal vehicle for high-speed chases through Seoul traffic. The same car went to Europe as the Opel GT. Sadly, GM ran out of money to make right-hand-drive Skies, so we never got to witness Holden or Vauxhall versions. Here's Bob Lutz describing the new Sky. Lutz really hated car names molded into plastic bumper covers, so he takes great care here to describe the genuine glued-on emblems. Related Video:
GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia
Thu, 09 Feb 2012General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.
Report: Saturn owners offered $2,000 to stick with GM products
Mon, 15 Feb 2010After its decision to euthanize Oldsmobile, General Motors knows exactly what happens when it mothballs one of its brands: GM loses market share to the competition. The General is trying to stop history from repeating itself with Saturn customers by offering $2,000 on the hood of every car and crossover donning the ringed planet badge. Automotive News says the offer actually started on February 2 and runs until the end of March. To be eligible for the $2,000 bounty Saturn owners must have leased or purchased their Saturn at least six months ago. Interestingly, those owners don't even have to turn in their Saturn to be eligible for the cash.
AN reports that research company R.L. Polk says even before Saturn went on the endangered species list, it lagged other GM nameplates in the all-important aspect of customer retention. The mass exodus from Saturn loyalty predictably intensified at the end of 2008 as customers became anxious over the future of the brand. For its part, GM insists that all Saturn warranties will be upheld and customers looking for service can still go to a GMC, Chevy, Buick or Cadillac dealership.
