LIke new saturn L-300 series with 118k miles runs and drives great. It has 3.0 liter v6 that is in great running order. It does NOT leak or burn any oil and was well maintained with regular oil changes and tune ups. I recently replaced the front headlights both with new ones. Replaced the alternator, Serpentine belt, all the brakes front and rear, top radiator hose, flushed out all the old coolant and replaced it with new coolant, and driver side rear strut. The transmission shift excellent and smoothly like it should. It is a very reliable car. It has zero rust, the exterior is also in great condition no dents or nothing, The interior is very clean and in great condition the seats do not have rips or tears on them. It is surprisingly good on gas and has lots of power. all the electronics work on it. The car needs nothing so if your looking for a good reliable car then this is it. When the deal to sell Saturn to Penske Automotive fell through, there were likely a lot of surprised people at General Motors' Detroit, MI headquarters. Penske released a statement saying that the reason the deal fell through after months of good faith negotiations was that a suitable post-GM supply of vehicles could not be found. However, after reacquainting ourselves with over eight minutes of outtakes from Jim Gaffigan's old Saturn commercial, we're thinking the comedic pitchman is to blame.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
