You are looking at a good running good looking SAAB 900 SE CONVERTIBLE .This car hits the road good the quick and economical 2.5 liter 6 cylinder motor runs quiet and strong and the transmission shifts smooth, I t does have a few issues , the top is not working it doesnt do anything at all ,the ac is not blowing cold ,and the radio is not coming on, and low brakes. The power windows are working. It was looked at by a mechanic and although it starts runs and drives with no problem (anfd runs and drives great) it does need an ignition switch,(which could cause some of the above problems not sure) and brake pads The exterior of this car as you can see by the pictures looks great ,the body is straight it has a nice shine, as you can see there are some small scratches around the car that you have to get up close to see (shown) underneath looks good The interior of the car as you can also see by the pictures is looks good no noticeable rips or tares the drivers seat does show some wear, the leather seats look good ,the carpets and headliner also in good shape ,it is nice and clean no strange smells,just a nice enviorment to drive in, This is a good running good looking LOW MILAGE SAAB 900 SE CONVERTIBLE IS BEING SOLD WITH NO RESERVE (THAT MEANS THIS CAR WILL SELL AT THE END OF THE AUCTION REGARDLESS OF PRICE SO IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY PLEASE DONT BID) . eBay Find of the Day: 1985 Saab Turbo Limo is the ultimate high school reunion ride
Wed, 18 Jul 2012Yes, we've seen this 1985 Saab 900 Turbo limo for sale before. But somehow, this time is just seems more right. And we've got more pictures this go-around.
With the Saab brand now dormant and little hope for a true renaissance, save for one that comes in name only, Saab's future must lie in the celebration of great cars of its past. And what better way to celebrate the wonderful Saab 900 than to chop it in half and turn it into a freaking limousine?
Claimed to have been built by a Denver area Saab specialist, this five-speed manual 900 Turbo is listed with a Buy It Now of $8,500. It's actually surprisingly well turned-out, too, with a pretty decent interior that sticks to real Saab seats, avoiding the crushed-velvet or button-festooned lounge chair look. While this seems rather spendy for a well-used limousine, good luck finding another one like it. And besides, that's a lot less than the $12,500 asking price from back in 2010.
NEV deal to buy Saab delayed
Fri, 03 Aug 2012Remember a month and a half ago when we told you that Saab will "soldier on?" Well, we should have written "stand at attention."
According to SaabsUnited, the deal for National Electric Vehicle Sweden to buy the remaining Saab assets didn't close on schedule. In fact, it's been delayed by "a month, perhaps more." NEVS also seems to have indicated that it's not going to be answering any more questions about the deal until it's completed.
NEVS is supposedly planning on building electric cars based on the design that would have been the next-generation 9-3. The company itself is a partnership between a Chinese energy company and a Japanese investment group.
Deal brokered to get Saab warranty service honored at GM dealers
Mon, 24 Dec 2012When Pontiac, Hummer and Saturn were killed off, at least current owners never had to question where they would have to take their vehicle in case it needed to be serviced. The same couldn't be said for Saab owners... until now. General Motors and Saab Automobile Parts North America (the remaining entity of the bankrupted automaker) have signed an agreement that provides 179 service centers to current Saab owners to receive factory-trained technicians and official Saab replacement parts.
These warranty service providers will have all the tools, training and parts to maintain and repair Saab vehicles, and they will also have access to a technical assistance center for the technicians. Next year, SPNA will also set up a customer assistance center, which will likely be most useful in helping current owners find repair shows, as well as a program called Saab Secure to give added service support to owners of late model (2010 and 2011 model year) Saab vehicles. Finally, to make sure customers have a sufficient parts supply to keep their cars on the road, SPNA operates out of a 153,000 square foot warehouse in Michigan that has the ability to ship more than 3,000 parts orders per day.
