Top of the line Aero model comes fully loaded with clean black leather interior, heated front and rear seats, traction control, moonroof, power memory seats, Harman Kardon stereo, lowered sport tuned suspension and original 17" Aero alloys. Full electric package - everything works. Rear seats split and fold flat to increase trunk storage. Good brakes, tires and AC runs cold. Very fast, torquey engine with strong, smooth turbo.
Rear shocks, fuel pump, Direct Ignition Cassette and new SID LCD display replaced by previous owner within the last 20K miles. Crank case vent hose, oil cap / dipstick and synthetic oil change done in the last week. Inspected through 05/14 and emissions good through 05/15.
Purchased this car for my son in May who cannot and will not drive a 5-speed manual. Already purchased a replacement car so priced to sell.

NEV deal to buy Saab delayed
Fri, 03 Aug 2012Remember a month and a half ago when we told you that Saab will "soldier on?" Well, we should have written "stand at attention."
According to SaabsUnited, the deal for National Electric Vehicle Sweden to buy the remaining Saab assets didn't close on schedule. In fact, it's been delayed by "a month, perhaps more." NEVS also seems to have indicated that it's not going to be answering any more questions about the deal until it's completed.
NEVS is supposedly planning on building electric cars based on the design that would have been the next-generation 9-3. The company itself is a partnership between a Chinese energy company and a Japanese investment group.
New owners still struggling to secure rights to use Saab name

That's what the new owners of Saab are trying to work out after buying the iconic Swedish automaker earlier this month, Automotive News reports.
National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), the Chinese-Japanese conglomerate, acquired the company's physical assets, including its factory in Trollhättan, but didn't get rights to use the Saab name and logo. Truckmaker Scania and defense company Saab AB maintain the name and logo rights, and will need to sign off on NEVS using it, according to the publication. The parties are in discussions.
NEVS mulling electric Saab 9-3 convertible, looking for engine partners, too

If you are a Saab fan, the equivalent could be this bit of news: The 9-3 Convertible may rise again, as an electric vehicle.
Word comes from the Dutch version of Autoweek that Chinese entity National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) has indicated that it will bring an electric version of the 9-3 Convertible to market in the next 18 months. The EV droptop would first debut in the Chinese market, but could expand, as could the lineup to other 9-3 variants, such as the sedan and SportCombi. A NEVS spokesperson has stated, "NEVS basically no doors holds." We're not sure if that's the spokesperson or the translation from the Dutch report, but you get the gist.
NEVS also indicated that conventionally powered versions of the 9-3 could be produced as well. The internal combustion engines could be the originally intended General Motors engines. Regardless of powerplant, we would be very eager to see Saab return, potentially as an EV to boot!
