I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL MY 1980 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW II.
I'VE OWNED IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND JUST DON'T HAVE TIME FOR HER ANYMORE. THE PAINT COLORS ARE METALLIC WALNUT (TOP COLOR) AND HONEY (SIDE COLOR). I HAD THE DOOR CAPS REFINISHED A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND RECENTLY SPENT A SMALL FORTUNE HAVING THE CARBS REBUILT, THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM HOSES REPLACED AND CALIPERS REBUILT. THE TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 1000 MILES ON THEM.
IT IS A CANADIAN SPEC CAR SO THE SPEEDOMETER IS IN KILOMETERES (130366 km = 81478 miles). I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE ESTATE OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER THROUGH A "MIDDLEMAN". I HAVE COPIES OF THE ORIGINAL "BUILD SHEETS" FROM WHEN THE CAR WAS ORDERED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THE BUILD PAPERWORK THAT ACCOMPANIES THE CAR DURING CONSTRUCTION.
THE SEAT LEATHER IS IN POOR CONDITION AND THE SEATS NEED TO BE RECOVERED.
I DROVE IT ABOUT 5 MILES YESTERDAY. IT STARTED RIGHT UP AND RAN FINE.
SEE MY FEEDBACK. I HAVE A REPUTATION FOR ACCURATELY DESCRIBING MY AUCTION ITEMS.

Rolls-Royce Ghost gets minor updates for 2013
Thu, 01 Nov 2012Befitting a creature called the Ghost, it was there and then it wasn't: Rolls-Royce dropped a few details and a picture of the 2013 Ghost, then removed all trace of it from the corporate site. The Internet can't keep a secret, though, so we have the goss on a carryover sedan with a few upgrades.
Next year's model takes its inspiration and several new tricks from the Ghost Six Senses concept revealed at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year. The new natural grain leather, cross-banded wood veneers and "exciter" (high-range) speakers come straight from the concept. A new alloy wheel option is also available, but the single press photo doesn't show the same alloys used on the Six Senses car. Not shown in Beijing but on the menu for the coming sedan is Comfort Access, the ability to open the trunk by waving your foot under the rear bumper as long as you have the key on your person. It is the first Rolls-Royce to get the option.
The price gets an upgrade, too, rising $7,050 to $260,750. Part of the increase is in the gas-guzzler tax, which climbed to $2,100 from $1,700 because of a new EPA calculations for fuel economy. As if you'd be worried about gas when you own a Ghost, but just in case, it will return 13 miles per gallon city and 21 mpg highway.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection is a real land yacht
Mon, 18 Aug 2014There aren't very many better places to show the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection than at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Not only is this aquatic-themed land yacht parked on the Concept Car Lawn appropriately very near the Pacific Ocean, it's being seen by some of the most wealthy car enthusiasts in the world on one afternoon.
The car actually debuted in May in Europe, but Rolls-Royce decided to show it again to West Coast customers. This luxury droptop is dedicated to former British waterspeed record-holder Sir Malcolm Campbell, hence the name. Campbell used a boat powered by a Rolls-Royce R engine to reach 126.33 miles per hour in 1937 on a lake in Italy and break the old milestone. Later, he took the same craft to 129.5 mph to further establish his dominance.
The Phantom Waterspeed takes inspiration from these accomplishments with a two-tone look that mixes shining Maggiore Blue exterior paint and a brushed steel tonneau cover to replace the normal teak. The blue color scheme even extends to the engine and interior trim in combination with contrasting Windchill Grey leather. Rolls isn't building many of these marine-inspired leviathans; check one out on the lawn at Pebble Beach in our gallery.
Rolls-Royce seriously considering SUV
Mon, 16 Sep 2013A Rolls-Royce Phantom may be the size of an SUV, and the Ghost isn't that much smaller. Still, according to reports, the high-end British automaker is seriously evaluating the prospect of adding a proper sport-ute or crossover to its lineup.
The news comes courtesy of Bloomberg, which spoke to Rolls-Royce chief executive Torsten Müller-Ötvös at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week. Although the rumor of a potential Rolls off-roader has been floating around for several months now, this is the first we've seen of the company confirming the possibility.
The development would follow similar projects being undertaken by rival automakers. Former sister-brand Bentley is preparing to launch an SUV, Jaguar revealed its own concept crossover at the same show, Maserati is gearing up to start production of the Levante and even Aston Martin has considered the idea of a crossover.
