This a 1980 Porsche 928. originally Looked alot like the original car that starred in the "Scarface" movie. It is a factory 5 speed with a 4.6 V8. unknown original miles (shows 65,000 but odometer does not work). The car runs very strong and has been kept up with its services. It has an Alpine stereo system with 6x9 speakers. The timing belt, all hoses and the interior has been replaced. It also has keyless entry. This a very fast car and is a lot of fun to drive. The original wheels are the Teledials that I had redone and powdercoated.The wheels on the back are slightly wider and looks awesome. It is still considered to be a super car. It can be used as a dailly driver, restoration project or excellent for a track car. Please NO spam, junk mail . I recently had the car primered and is ready for a paint of your choosing.

Porsche slathers Martini livery on 911, Panamera, Macan and Cayenne
Mon, 20 Oct 2014This is how we imagine the conversation went in Porsche's Stuttgart headquarters: "Martini livery. Martini livery all the things." Okay, so maybe not, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from showing off images of its entire lineup bearing the iconic racing livery.
While we aren't sure about the questionably yellow 911 and lime green Macan, the navy blue Cayenne and the white Panamera both look pretty spectacular as they lap about the streets of Sochi, Russia.
As for why the liveried sports cars and crossovers were at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics, we aren't totally sure. Porsche's Facebook page, where the images first popped up, was really light on details. Whatever the reason, we fully support Porsche doing more with Martini livery. $1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.
Porsche close to fix for 911 GT3 engine fires
Sun, 16 Mar 2014It looks like 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 drivers might actually get to drive their cars again soon. Reports of fires affecting the track-ready Germans first began about a month ago. Then, a few days later, the automaker confirmed two of the five alleged blazes and said owners shouldn't drive their cars until further notice. Porsche then went so far as to offer to pick up the GT3s and transport them to the nearest dealer until the problem was identified and a fix was found. Finally, there appears to be a repair.
"We know the reason and the problem-solving measures. We're testing them," said Porsche CEO Matthias Müller to Bloomberg. The technical fix will be released to owners shortly.
The recall affects all 785 GT3s that have been sold so far, but there have been no reported injuries caused by the fires. When it first announced the safety campaign, Porsche said: "Internal studies to determine the cause of the engine damage have not been completed yet."
