This is a nice driver. It runs and drives very well. There are some issues that I have not addressed: turn signals don't work; parking brake inoperative; some rust issues. Mileage says 22540 but I am sure this is not right. As far as I can tell it has had at least two previous owners. There are two notebooks that came with the car with all work orders and other items purchased for this car. Car has been repainted (not very good) but is okay for a driver. Interior is decent with only one seam separation on the driver's seat. Glass is all good. Trim is good. Muffler good. Engine and trans seem fine. You will have to put in a bushing kit in the shifter (very common problem with 914s) as it takes a little getting used to gear changes. Low reserve. Book on these just keeps creeping up. I know 914s as I have a '71 1.7 that I bought over 30 years ago and drive it only in the summer. Great little cars.

Magnus Walker pops up again, this time with his Irish Green 911
Sun, 06 Oct 2013He was the subject of a short film called Urban Outlaw. He has been on Jay Leno's Garage. Twice. He even graced the cover of Road & Track in June. And after all of that, he appeared in a video by Hong Kong-based Silly Thing. So it isn't really surprising that Magnus Walker is at the center of attention in the latest video from XCAR, but it's surprising - and a treat - to see his mostly original Irish Green 1966 Porsche 911.
Powered by an air-cooled 2.0-liter flat six with 130 horsepower (more like 120 hp today, Walker says), riding on 5.5-inch wide wheels and turned with a wooden steering wheel, the little green 911 does represent some of the best aspects of classic car motoring.
