2005 Porsche 911 997 Beautiful Very Low Mileage!!! on 2040-cars
Hopewell Junction, New York, United States
The true sports car for driving enthusiasts. A manual shift 6
speed 2005 Porsche 911 997 in Arctic Silver. The car looks great and drives
like new – in my view nothing needs to be done, nothing, just gas and go. The original engine is very strong with great acceleration
and is barely broken in with only 31K miles. A new Pioneer touchscreen navigation DVD/CD/radio has been
added and is included with the sale, but the OEM radio is also included with
the car. The Pioneer comes with wires to play IPOD devices. The tires have a
long tread life left and do not need to be replaced at this time. The sunroof
does not leak and the car has been garaged since I purchased in 2011. I have maintained the car with regular oil changes and service
as needed. The car has not been in an accident, has a clean black leather interior
without any significant wear. I do not smoke. 1) I think the back speakers are too small and they are not the
original speakers that have been blown. This can easily be fixed with a new set
of Bose speakers. The exterior does have one scratch about 4”on the back rear
panel, but not worth fixing, depth of a fingernail. That’s it – the ultimate sports car for under 45K. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING |

A closer look at the 2015 Porsche Macan
Wed, 27 Nov 2013
He assured us that "this is a sports car."
Porsche took the wraps off its all-new 2015 Macan at the LA Auto Show last week, and while it's easy to write it off as just a badge-engineered version of the Audi Q5, you'd be very, very wrong. For starters, 75 percent of the car's platform was re-engineered by the Porsche team, and with a choice of two twin-turbocharged engines, the Macan should absolutely live up to the brand's pedigree.
Infiniti cribs new US boss from Porsche
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Just weeks before he was supposed to become CEO of Porsche Cars Australia, Infiniti has apparently offered Porsche COO and Executive Vice President Michael Bartsch a deal he couldn't refuse. Thus, Bartsch has join the company as Vice President of Infiniti Americas, the luxury marque's top North American post. Bartsch replaces Ben Poore, who has been with the automaker since 2008, having led both a 22-percent sales surge in 2012 and the brand's current sales slough, Automotive News reports.
Bartsch, Porsche's No. 2 US executive, has held the COO and Executive Vice President positions at Porsche since 2005 and was scheduled to become CEO of Porsche's Oz division on September 1. Infiniti has experienced a number of recent personnel changes in the past week: it named Vincent Gillet, formerly an executive for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, to lead its marketing efforts worldwide and Simon Cox, a former designer for automakers including Ford and Peugeot, to head a new design studio in London.
Poore reportedly will pursue other interests outside of the auto industry. Read more about the personnel change in the press release below.
Porsche stalls on Ferrari 458 rival
Mon, 17 Nov 2014A few years ago, reports surfaced that Porsche was planning a new supercar. But the latest intel suggests that the plan has been put indefinitely on the back burner.
The project alternately referred to as 960 or 988 was put forth by CEO Matthias Müller shortly after he assumed control of the German automaker. It called for a mid-engined V8 supercar to slot in between the 911 and the 918 Spyder to take on the likes of the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 650S and sister-company Lamborghini's Gallardo and subsequent Huracán.
Now three years since the idea was first mooted, the vehicle has yet to materialize. According to Autocar, Porsche is putting a greater emphasis on refreshing its existing lineup. Which is probably just as well, because the mid-engined supercar would have a heck of a challenge on its hands to differentiate itself in terms of performance from the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo, which already give the 458 and company a run for their money.
