this is a 1990 porsche carrera 4 coupe. car is grand prix white with dark blue interior.
engine runs strong. car has 183k miles on it but it had a full split case engine rebuild at 144k miles at a cost of
$14k and i can provide the invoice to show the work done. starts right up without any hesitation, idles smooth and
pulls strong all the way to redline. the 5 speed transmission shifts smooth. clutch is tight with no slippage at
all. the awd system works as it should. there are new oil lines and thermostat. it has a primary muffler bypass for
a nice throaty sound. catalytic is still in place.
the interior shows some wear but nothing out of the normal for a car with this mileage. the driver seat bolster is
worn, the dash has a few cracks (which are hardly noticeable while you are sitting in the car) and that's about it.
the rest of the interior is in good shape.
that i can remember, everything on the car works as it should. windows, wipers, gauges, sunroof, rear spoiler, etc
all work as intended. the air conditioning blows cold. not freezing but still keeps you comfortable during the day.
the radio is a sony cd player.
the car sits on stock shocks with H&R springs to set the ride height to just about perfect. it has hawk black brake
pads. rolls on continental tires that have at least 50% tread left.
the body looks good. just about all of the paint is original except for the windshield cowl. the car looks great
from 5 feet but upon closer inspection there are a few dings and such from normal use. there are a couple of minor
rust spots which are just in the beginning stage and would be very easy to fix. the spare wheel well is also rusty
from what must have been a scrape many years ago that was never dealt with. this is an easy repair. the front hood
has a clear bra.
car comes with its original books and manuals with the sticker in place as well as the sticker under the front
bonnet. also the original air pump and tools.
in general this is a solid driver. by no means is it a show car. it runs and drives great as it sits and can be
enjoyed for years to come or if you wanted to you could fix little things here and there as you drive it.

2015 Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series is a seriously quick way to spend $260k

Porsche is usually associated with being a sports car brand, but with vehicles like the Cayenne and Panamera it takes a step into the world of luxury against firmly established players like Mercedes-Benz. One way for the company to poke its head above the high-class fray is by taking things further, and in the case of the Panamera Exclusive Series at the Los Angeles Auto Show, it means pushing grandeur to extreme levels.
Coming in at an absolutely eye-watering $263,900, plus $995 destination, the Panamera Exclusive starts its life as the already sumptuous Panamera Turbo S Executive with a 4.8-liter, twin-turbo V8 making 570 horsepower on an extended wheelbase. To help justify the extra $63,000 for the Exclusive, though, the model gets 20-inch black Sport Classic wheels and an interior in swaddled in Nappa leather with dark walnut and piano black trim. Rear passengers also get 10.1-inch touchscreens mounted on the back of the front seats. A set of fitted Poltrana Frau leather luggage is included with each one, as well.

Aston Martin renames Vantage GT3 after Porsche throws hissy fit

Porsche has a long history of using the name "GT3" for its hardcore, naturally aspirated 911 models, and that means it's certainly not going to share it with the likes of Aston Martin. See, it seems the arrival of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show didn't sit well with Stuttgart, which opted to lawyer up. According to Goodwood Road and Racing, attorneys from both sides of the Channel have been in discussion for months over the issue, with Porsche arguing it's been using the GT3 name since 1999, and that makes it theirs. Aston, though, argues that the FIA GT3 racing series makes the name fair game for road cars. Moreover, the Brits point out that the alphanumeric was in use well before Porsche got its mitts on it – GRR rightly points out the Lotus Esprit GT3 hit the streets three years before the 996 GT3. And while we're on the subject, Bentley has its own GT3, but we're guessing its status as one of Porsche's siblings means its immune to this kind of squabbling. Rather than getting into a knock-down, drag-out courtroom brawl with one of the Volkswagen Group's prized brands, though, Aston has taken the high road. The company will rechristen both the road-going Vantage GT3 and Vantage racer as the GT12. While Porsche is no stranger to aggressively protecting what it views as its closely held vehicle names, we have to admit, it seems like Aston actually has something of a case. Ferrari 458 Speciale vs Porsche 911 GT3 shows what Chris Harris does best

After a brief trip behind a pay wall, British auto journalist Chris Harris is back posting videos for free online, and shorts like this one are the perfect example of why his return is so welcome. Showing up at the damp Anglesey Circuit on the Welsh coast with the Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3, Harris ostensibly aims to find the better model. However, the final result really succeeds in showcasing the fun to be had behind the wheels of both supercars, particularly when initiating huge slides around the track. As Harris presents it, the vehicles get through the circuit in somewhat different ways The Ferrari is brash and "feels alive," as he puts it as it screams around the track. Alternatively, the Porsche is a bit more restrained, while still being able to show some emotion. In the end, it comes down to trying to get a controlled lap around Anglesey from this duo, but it's pretty clear that the times don't tell the whole story. If you're in the mood to watch two of the world's premiere supercars wag their tails in the wet, then this video cannot be missed.
