1989 Porsche 911 Turbo rolls out of Harry's Garage

It's getting increasing hard not to feel a little envious of Harry Metcalfe's collection of vehicles, especially with his latest purchase. He now owns the trinity of '80s European supercars with an '87 Lamborghini Countach, an '87 Ferrari Testarossa, and the recent addition of an '89 Porsche 911 Turbo. With the other two already featured in videos, the example from Stuttgart gets the focus in Metcalfe's latest clip. These turbos have a reputation for being a bit of a handful to drive, and according to Metcalfe that notoriety isn't entirely undeserved. With no power steering, floor-mounted pedals, oddly placed controls and lots of turbo lag, this era of 911 Turbo is difficult to master. However, it's a wonderful challenge that really engages the driver, according to Metcalfe. While a very different vehicle from the Countach or Testarossa, it's clear that this 911 Turbo is still a beloved member in Metcalfe's trio of '80s supercars. Porsche digitally dissects its 918 Spyder for your viewing pleasure

At this point, you'd think we'd know all there is to know about the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder - except what it's like to drive - but Porsche has released a new video giving us a more in-depth look at its new plug-in hypercar all the same. The animated video gives us numerous cutaway looks at the 918 Spyder while giving a visual demonstration of the car's four hybrid driving modes.
Though nowhere near as exciting as watching the 918 blast around the Nürburgring in record time, this new video is nonetheless both interesting and informative. Porsche Panamera Turbo sets new Nurburgring record

The new Porsche Panamera appears to be the complete package. The new four-door sedan is finally good looking, has copious amounts of power, and has even become the fastest sedan around the Nurburgring. Porsche set a time of 7 minutes, 38 seconds in a Panamera Turbo, which just barely bests the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio by a second. The new Panamera Turbo features a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 that puts out 550 hp and 567 pound-feet of torque. That's enough to get the sedan from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds (with the optional Sport Chrono package) on the way a top speed of 180 mph. The new record proves that the Panamera Turbo is quick around a grueling race track, as well. The Panamera Turbo's time around the Nurburgring puts it in the same breath as the Ferrari 458 Italia and Lexus LFA, while being an impressive 14 seconds faster than the previous Panamera.
