This is car 1353 out of only 1600 30th anniversary editions built. It is garage kept, stored in Winter, and mostly driven to local car shows. It is clean with the exception of the Trans Am logo on the passenger door missing the "r" (see photo). The interior is clean with the drivers seat showing normal wear, and the "standard" crack that happens in all Firebird doors (see photo). The 30th Anniversary trunk mat is in the car. This car is in good condition and has considerable engine, drivetrain, and suspension work performed by Finish Line Performance. Dyno tuned and producing 432 HP at the rear wheels. Modifications (professionally performed with documentation):
I still have most of the original parts (heads, driveshaft, suspension, etc.) and will consider letting them go with the car. This includes the original Hurst shifter that this car came with. Sorry, the Hooters girls are not included... |

Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later
Fri, 12 Sep 2014
Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
